But although Slardar is really fun, I wanna try out some other heroes. Any suggestions? Bounty Hunter? Mortred also works well since she should get MKB first, and then Riki is beaten, smoke or no smoke.

But although Slardar is really fun, I wanna try out some other heroes. Any suggestions? Bounty Hunter is a much better counter to invisible heroes than Slardar, but is less capable in teamfights. The reason is you can always see a Slardar coming, but Bounty Hunter can appear and track you before you can run away, and once tracked you aren't getting away. You can also camp in windwalk and wait for the invis hero (usually Riki/Brood) to appear.

2.Can't zoom out any further, the camera is intended to be at that distance for gameplay/balance purposes.

Certain ratios have different viewing distances (I think 4:3 was the worst, but it may have been patched), but getting a bigger monitor won't improve the amount you see (only the quality) On July 16 2012 18:31 wcLLg wrote: Where can i find dota 2 replays? (or, at least, match id #s ;p) You can access them through the client, watch tab --> recent games. If you want to improve you will probably want tourneys. You can access the east/west qualifiers for free in game, but other tourneys will cost a ticket to watch in game (you can probably find vods though). For long lane solo start with stout shield+regen+branches, then soul ring helps keep ion shell up. Jungle you generally go soul ring+tranquils. Either vanguard and/or pipe are normally my next choices (get mek instead if no one else is getting it). From there basically anything goes. Ags is a common choice, as well as shivas, but sheep and necro 3 are both good situational items. After ags refresher is also a good idea.

You should get a screen saying 'You have a new item in your backpack.', along with the item you received. If it can be equipped on a hero, you can preview it by selecting Customise > the hero you received the item for.

I used to thing it was "all magic" (long time ago) and that some weird spells were made in a way (on Warcraft 3 engine) that it was imposible to prevent them from affecting you... Right now I think the rule is simple: It stops you from suffering magical damage, and it makes you inmune to all effects that don't come from an Ultimate. So if an Ultimate has an effect, of any kind, stun, disable, swap, slow, etc... It affects you. Right? (But not the damage part) Are there exceptions to this rule or is it exactly it? Not sure if Doom will hurt you while Doomed during BKB. Does it make you inmune to Monkey's King Bash Damage? Mechasm/Pipe Heal/Shield? To the Magical damage portion of mixed spells?

stuff like if Luna can now use a desolator or if she's still limited. If bashers stack with time lock now or not, etc. As far as I know, vanguard still does not work with kraken shell, but that's about it.
