I think because Eni's black hole has a too long cooldown - if it goes wrong once then the team is helpless for 3 minutes, so people prefer heroes with less risk in -CM. | ||

It's always been that way. The only reason anything would have changed is if fights are more frequent than before. And enigma is picked just as much for his hard laning/pushing as anything else. | ||

I don't think enigma or beastmaster have been phased out at all from the metagame, they were never picked/banned every game it just depends on what teams like to play and on what the enemy team picks. For example, PGG loves playing enigma. If you have a WR and enchantress though, you might be less likely to pick enigma because you already have a sidelane solo and a jungler. Last night 2 enigmas were picked by MiTH and EHOME. | ||
