Well they are at least paying out some money, some of the older debts may have been paid (or so I hope). I assumed that given that EE of all people was keeping quiet back then that at least his team was getting their money as intended but apparently not lol.
Aside from the organizational issues some of the stories from even the majors sound pretty crazy. Puppey not playing a lot of pubs and such was pretty known but his priorities even at the majors seem pretty unbelievable with millions on the line.

Excuse me sir, what did kuro do to look bad? Maybe he made some mistakes, but everyone does that. Even rtz seems to be cool with kuro again. IMO it's because of the Panda TV deal getting bigger if Secret gets RTZ + Universe (according to Envy's post).

Well I'll support Puppey after this for sure.
Kinda explains why he was such a strong leader in CIS, so his confidence, outbursts, controlling people by just hammering them probably worked really well.
Although the bad thing for him that during the last few patches Dota has changed completely and not putting in the hours suddenly shows way more, gives rise to hard working youngsters etc. with so many heroes working, so many strategies being viable and countering others... And you having to put in loads of practice in all of a sudden And having the Captain lead the way by not practising is really bad for others to try

It is one thing to be entertained by the leaks, but secret now finding a premium sponsor, no way.
There is no way coca cola, nike or any of the big names ever sign a team with those leaks.
Secret as a brand is gone - they can try to go for some small sponsors but the big fishes got better alternatives.

my friend and i used to endearingly joke about secret's name being 'shitcret' while they were underperforming with our favourite players. i guess after that they should be getting toiletry sponsors. going to be hard washing this one out though.
i don't believe any organization is safe from drama, but i believe any team that operates on contracts does much better than a team that bases itself on reputation or persons of interest. each other team and sets of players should be checking each other for marks, defects, and other such things, and rightly so.
i'm so surprised that people put up with any kind of abuse.

im more sad about PLD to be honest.He is a great support and i dont think he would stay in the team if he had a choise.MP Forev and Midone will be part of Tier1 teams again and will be players to look out for in SEA but pie...i dont know

Wow this is all so crazy. The magnitude of all of this goes way beyond what I thought possible. If what EE is saying is true, and it seems legit, then I will never cheer for secret or puppey again.
I hope there is justice in the end for all these players that were not paid. I hope esports in general learns from this and improves. The fact that one of the biggest names out there with top level players can exist as an organization and operate like this is unfortunately proof that a large part of esports = still kind of a joke.

1. Envy just made PLD, MP, Forev and MidOne privy to Kemal's constant lying.
2. Puppey also looks guilty to a few lies and over promises.
3. Puppey is a bully
I thank Envy for going public which saves current/ future players from further scams by Secret.
I feel sorry for all of Secret's previous victims. I hope they can recoup some of what they are owed.
2 years of theft and lies by Secret should mostly be over now.
