Sometimes you see teams throwing massive leads because they get overconfident and throw games. Other times you see teams that are afraid to lose and have no confidence in themselves. They get a big lead and fail to close the game out (EE's C9 and the TI3-4 Liquid come to mind here) That said, Puppey has some sort of issue with how he views the game that's holding his team back, I think. Feels like when his teams have been losing it's due to a breakdown in teamwork and trust, and unfortunately this has happened with multiple iterations of Secret I also think he puts too little value on early game, too often we see his teams take a greedy draft that gets ran over early game and never recover. I don't know how much this ties into my first point but it's a pattern I've noticed repeatedly. This might be stubbornness because when Na'vi was dominant under his leadership they could frequently take insane teamfights even from huge deficits, but the game and players have changed a lot, and you can't just draft assuming your team vastly outskills the enemy team This is, however, just my shitter analysis and I've not studied the games enough to be confident in these claims. Not sure about roster shuffle. I've heard rumors that Matumba has military service coming up, and honestly we don't really know what the internal state is of most teams. Secret is just a gimme that they're making changes since they got last and Puppey expressed discontent in that interview with the way some players took 1437/aui's coaching (keep in mind that OG, Secret, and EG credit'd their respective coaches for their victories at TI5 and the majors, and 7mad/1437/bulba are all players that have seen very little success as players) | ||

Not saying they would beat LGD in abo3 but reading too much into a single game loss when we have multiple examples of loser bracket runs is meh | ||

I'm not saying secret would have done well but almost winning the only main stage game while 20k behind isn't indicative of much. Group stage games didn't tell the whole story at all for a lot of the teams that went far. | ||

That was during TI6 they have never had a 0-15 win loss. they had a 5-9 record in the group stage and 5-10 over all at TI. if that is what you're talking about please try to be more accurate. | ||

on the topic yea secret will definitely shuffle, so will a lot of other teams. But as usual we know nothing about behind the scene thing and can only speculate | ||
