Uh I see I woke up to a disaster of a day. Not a fan of this draft against DC at all so not looking great there either

Though the entire group is in a weird state so let's see what happens today and tomorrow

e: Well that DC series crowns the day. I think the group standings are such that Secret can make it to the top half with a 4-0 tomorrow but that seems like wishful thinking. Bo1s seem to be waiting

I don't even know who to blame for Secret. EE had a horrible game. Puppy hasn't been doing well. Bulba and Arteezy are the only players that did well.
Getting too old for this..

If I would blame something last game I would blame the call to go for more kills top lane when they had got a pickoff mid and I believe they didn't realize DC was going top with all their remaining heroes. Secret went there without Arteezy, saw only Moo or something with EE and wanted to go for the kill but instead lost 4 themselves. Iirc that was really when the game started to get out of Secret's hands.

First game vs DC was just a god awful draft imo. I didn't see the EHOME and Fnatic games yet so idk about those.

Doesn't look good when your only wins come from dirty huskar outdrafts. They need to step up play wise.

I only got to watch the first games vrs Ehome, but I felt ppy and pld were doing rather poor especially.
EE didnt seem too comfortable on the Slardar either, tho he didnt didnt really play bad.

Im watching the 2nd game vs DC, 30 min in they are leading 9 - 24 in kills, with nearly 16k net and exp advantage. And this is a game DC won? WTF, I guess I should prepare for the throw of their lives.

OK so DC systematically dismantled Secret by having vision on them all the time with BM and wards while Secret's supports were absolutely useless, w33 and Resolution baiting chronos from RTZ, very good swaps from Saksa (a few bad ones too), EE doing EE things and dying like stupid a few times. RTZ generally played very well, but some of his time walks were questionable leaving him exposed. Wouldn't call this a throw, simply outplayed.

Yea, they lost both aegises pretty much straight after getting rosh and didn't get much out of them so they never got to a point where they are threatening high ground or anything. Neither of those was some terrible misplay but rather DC being in the right place and Secret just not being completely prepared. And as far as I recall the key moment where the game sort of turned was when they got a pickoff on ET or Venge mid, they tried to go for more kills top without Arteezy when EE had an invis rune or Mirana ult on and he saw Moo or something, but then DC was all there behind the trees and the fight went very poorly and Secret lost 4. At a certain point when Morph is huge and DK has BKB etc. the game is very easy to play for DC and it's incredibly hard for Secret to pick people off or get a good fight even if they were still ahead in gold etc.

Ppy still not finding a way to enable rtz to shine, and I personally dont see how EE can get rated as a top carry. In this international the best can get compared and you can find EE on the buttom of that ladder.
I dont think an EE fan can deny that in any way.
I m pretty sure they will drop bulba and EE, what would be a good decision - try to get at least zai for the offlane and someone else for the future to work with.
Ppy really needs to rethink a lot of his decisions, the drop of w33 and misery is just one big question for me I would like to hear a reflect of ppy nowadays.

None of those roster changes will matter if ppy himself doesnt step down. He has been bad for a very long time and there's no indication that he will improve. What he is doing is NaVi 2014 all over again, bad drafts and noob plays.

bulba is their best player , tbh fam /s

artour is playing pretty solid , but this again feels like one of those classic artour TI team with much hype and no success

and yes, as above guy said, puppey is actually playing the worst on the team..his drafts are as bad as fnatic drafts and he picks some weird supports for himself which he can't do anything with other than jungling.

Some draft decisions seems just plain dumb. Like EE Death Prophet mid and RTZ Drow Ranger, why not just swap the 2 so they actually have a shot at winning. EE has been playing quite poorly, but they haven't exactly drafted him many comfort picks either, focusing more on getting RTZ farmed on whatever hero he plays. I just don't see it working out and at this point I think they should try and draft some heroes EE can actually play, even if it might put RTZ on a more spacemaking role, I mean, it doesn't hurt trying to change things up, it's clearly not working now anyway.

Like, I am not surprised that EE is doing poorly since he has to play a way he usually never does. RTZ still looks solid, but that also probably has something to do with him playing comfort picks and the rest just playing so poorly that he just looks good in comparison. With that said, I'm not sure switching things up will work either, maybe they are just destined for failure, but at this point, it's still probably worth trying.
