I'm glad they didn't qualify for TI; they need a complete overhaul. I've been thinking about Synderen a lot lately. I know he has great synergy with Bulldog when playing on stream and he's a top notch drafter and support. Would it be foolish to replace mad after all this? What do you think? Synderen is not good enough, i sometimes think what if S4 stayed in the team and they just took Zai for 4th position....

Unfortunately that will never happen unless Secret completely implodes out of nowhere. Edit: Btw, Synderen not being good enough? I don't know about that. Didn't he finish pretty high in FPL? I know that doesn't translate into pro team prowess, but it's definately something. I know he was sitting as #1 for a long time.

Synd is quite a meh player. His clock games always make me wanna puke.

We can single out the drafter or individual players in matches where they lose, but at the end of the day I think they deserve each other. Jesus Christ! Top 50 geez, And you don't think that's bad? 2 years ago this team (with 3 of the same players) stood above everyone else and completely dominated the scene. Now they are consistently bad (top50 as u put it) and you don't think that warrants drastic changes?! This iteration of Alliance cannot stand next season!

My point is that they are where they deserve to be with the players they have. I don't think any drastic change, except replacing all five players, is going to suddenly propel them into the podium of next years international. From the last three pages of this thread (paraphrased): Loda and Akke "Washed up pros" Bulldog "Can only play three heroes" Mad "Can't draft" Pajkatt "Can only play Troll and Sniper" They can always replace someone, but I think if they want to be a top contender again they have to slowly play their way back in.

NaVi looked worse but with ArtStyle (and some serious disciple) they are looking quite good (no, that doesnt mean Secret/EG/VG level). While NiP obviously isnt a good measure point, that game 2 was pretty damn good, so hopefully isnt a oasis in the desert but of a glimpse of a better tomorrow

I don't think saying they are somewhere in the top 50, but not top 10, is unreasonable. Like with any sport there are a lot of teams/athletes just outside the elite (the top 10 if you like). Two years ago Dota 2 was a much younger game and the competition was not a fierce as it is today. My point is that they are where they deserve to be with the players they have. Its not the competition that changed its the game , altough you play the same game at the core , everything from the patch they dominated till now has changed , smoke is different , experience , gold , creep speed , heroes , abilities , EVERYTHING , if you look at the winners of the next TI`s and the top teams , they already been around when alliance won it , its not the new blood , its the game , they cannot adopt to what that has changed i hate saying that , but they were a patch team it seems , once it changed they never recovered. So please dont talk about feirce competition , it was the same , and it was fierce.
