All these discussions of Tiers are just silly, is it really THAT important that you so need to put all teams into some kind of tier category!? Alliance has played 3 series now with a completely new lineup that was announced quite recently so hold of with your Tier this n dat.
Tier is just a word. You can quote me on that.
On the topic of the series, game 1 of OG started quite good, they just lost the game to 1 teamfight which can happen. Rest felt tilted and they need to find a way to deal with push starts, only reason TFT won.

I'm gonna let it go now, this is the Alliance thread and I hope they'll get back on track- there were some hopeful signs in those last 2 and a half series. Picking those quotes from me all out of context sure does make you look smart. Good that we have such intelligent people in this community. Im from Munich by the way, not exactly a village xD Oh please. How are those quotes out of context? Feel free to point out how they're not fitting to the Alliance win vs OG tier discussion. I wouldn't even know what other context there could possibly be seeing as we've only been discussing 1 topic here and it's a consecutive comment chain. And when someone calls you the resident village idiot, he's not talking about your IRL location, buddy. You're not exactly making it hard to "look smart" here. whatever, i dont want to discuss this with you anymore, doesnt lead to anything, and i off topic too. I knew what you meant with your village Idiot phrase, i am not that dumb. I was joking about that, notice my smiley at the end;) Fair enough my bad then. "Schwamm drüber". Ah you are a fellow german? I already wondered if that phrase village idiot even exists in the englisch Language, because in german we obviously have "dorftrottel" xD Yeah no hard feelings man, its all right.

It does, and it probably has for a very long time. After all English and German are fairly closely related (it's a germanic language after all) and villages and idiots have existed since the dawn of time.

1-4 in epicenter EU qualifiers. Long road ahead of alliance.

Yeah there are so many things they have to work on. Hopefully they put in the hours. I see glimpses of hope tho, really think it can be good in time.

Loda, miCKe, Gorgc, iNsania and Akke played as team sweden in WESG. They went 0-3 in Phase 1 and watched the rest of the tourney.
|
Oh I didn't see them anywhere in playoffs assumed they weren't in it It's pretty much a hobby team at this point, Loda doesn't practice much Akke is a part-timer (I assume?) gg
|
I don't think Akke is part of Alliance's player group, it's four young and inexperienced players + old man Loder
|
Surprised this thread is still going.
If Loda would have quit when he was still relevant, i.e. ~3 years ago, this team might still be okay. The one thing Loda has proven with his play, is that a player should not under any circumstance own the team he is playing in. It is an obvious conflict of interest.
Loda wants to play pro dota. Problem is that he does not have the skill to do so, and he could never join any team outside alliance. Thus alliance have gone from the best western team to an academy team that so far have not yield any new pro players as far as I am aware. Think Taigia is pretty good though, so I suppose he will be the first player that establish himself in professional team once he leaves alliance.
|
It's more about Loda being burnt out/lazy, if he actually grinded games all over the place there wouldn't be an issue You know like Burning did when he came back from Hiatus and jumped near the top of MMR ladder in China
Loda plays like crap and is an awful example too, if he did he can still eb an owner and make the team work imo

I am not sure why i dont see them playing all the qualifiers they can , i would expect them to play non stop low level tourney Dota..... Micke injury or not..... welp , back to watching major playoffs only i guess.... i had a feeling they will be an active team which i can follow (win or lose) , but they never play

StarLadder i-League 23 March 2018 - 17:00 CET you can watch them play against kinguin.

They play a decent amount but never get through to the stages where one actually notices the teams. They drop out in the open qualifiers in a few cases.
