^ yeah i think they are going to take some time off. But i think it's good time for everyone to cool down and rediscover their synergy and potential and decide to stick together instead of hastily making decision and break up due to some momentary disappointment

I don't think there's much point announcing anything before the next tournament starts. Though as far as c9 is concerned I think EE is generally rather forthcoming when he streams about stuff, so people may get some hints whenever he starts streaming again. Not sure if that's before or after the trip with Lumi.

As much as I want him to stream again, I don't think it will happen until after he gets back from japan. A break from dota after the stress of TI seems reasonable.

Even CIS stuff may not be true, at least not all of it. v1lat has specifically tagged those posts as assumptions. What's more, Casperrr has added that "you won't be able to guess what is true and what isn't" (loosely translated) and this was retwitted by v1lat.
So I think that they do have some inside info, but v1lat has deliberately mixed it up with pure speculations and wild guesses to confuse people who will read those posts.

Personally, I don't see why C9 would want to change team roster. They did fairly well at TI4 and they are also relatively new to the highest level of competition so they should still have a room to grow and improve as a team.

I don't think the "c9 keeping 2" has any sort of merit. Imo the only way for such big changes to happen is that the players get offers from a certain few teams, and after 1 decides to leave the team, others are more likely to do so as well. Examples would be EG recruiting EE, Alliance having some sort of reshuffle and offering a spot to someone, or Sing wanting to play with Puppey or Kuroky.

The second option is that some very high profile players want to join c9, in which case they might change a player or two. But in general I don't think it is likely that c9 is the one actively looking to reshuffle and kick players out. They have found a group where all players are dedicated to practice and get along well, and imo look very promising for the upcoming year. But if some other top tier teams break up and start making offers, things can happen.

Why do people think that c9 would split though? Once again only reason I see for a change is bone7 because of visa issues.

well he only had issues with US visa. and those are pretty much over since he got it for TI4. the hard part is getting it for the first time, extending it is usually a formality. plus we don't know how long his current visa is good for, could be for like 5 years or something. if anything, i'd see EE going to EG, that's the most likely scenario for me. he always spoke very highly of eg, he said in an interview that they got along very well at starladder and eg does need a carry since mason still doesn't want to go full pro i think. also, i don't see c9 kicking bone7 at all. with all the reshuffling to come, they'll probably have to worry about holding on to him.

Yeah just some rumours for discussion during post-TI downtime. But judging from the info available "publicly", I think we can say that they are going to stick together for quite some time, barring big money offer (they spoke highly about their Cloud9 organization, so i guess need a lot of money to break them up), or some unimaginably stupid reasons like bone7 keep having nightmares or EE gets into wrong room at night again ^^

Yeah I always knew fear would come back to replace mason.
EE going to EG might have seemed possible for a minute since he subbed for them and they did well but I don't think their personalities match very well, while sing+aui+ee seem to match well.
