Like I said many times before, on their day c9 can beat anybody convincingly. Its just that suddenly wild clown 9 appears so often. The only thing consistent is this inconsistency of which team will show up. If it weren't for the occasional clown9 appearance, their play would be pretty boring imo It's what makes c9 the c9 we know, the greedy plays that look ingenious when they pay off and the fails that come after if those gambles don't pay off

Other than inconsistency they're extremely good, I think working together and fixing the inconsistency they would be good contenders for even next TI. #ThePowerOfFriendship.

He is one of the guys capable of taking a leadership role in game, and EE has said multiple times that he sees PLD as the best player of the team. Also considering the history of bone7, EE and PLD for the past 1.5 years, I don't think it's likely that anyone will be kicked off the team for performance reasons. If there are some problems internally, or if someone gets an offer from some major team and wants to leave, changes may happen. C9 seems to value PLD more than any caster/commentator or even most fans. EE (I think) even said that PLD carried the game vs LGD with his BH play.

And it was obvious (for the carrying). Commentators being shitty should not blind people, in game the space created was obvious even to a medriocre player like me. I was quite surprised to hear that the panel called out PLD BH (I rarely watched the panel, only in-client stuff).

It's also a lot of behind the scene stuff within the team that outsiders (even casters) not know about, like how PLD captaining the team and theory-crafting strategies. IIRC, in some interview long ago C9 swiftly mentioned about how PLD has a lot of knowledge and strategies in the game

I think almost always people who are a part of developing strategies for the team and in charge of implementing those in game end up being underappreciated in the public eye (unless you are part of a winning team in which case people start singing your praises). Moreover, my experience is that the people who are capable of taking a leadership role in a team are almost always among the most respected players in the pro community. When you play on a high level in any sport or game, you learn to appreciate how certain people make the game easier for others and allow them to shine. Also of course unless one follows a team very closely, it's not always clear to the outside who is the one making the calls in the team and what role does everyone exactly play.

+ Show Spoiler + Решафл. Флай останется с Резолюшн, Маг куда то уйдет, Пайлайдай не помешал бы в Альянс. В С9 останутся только 2 игрока Reshuffle. ALWAYSWANNAFLY stays with Resolution, Mag leaving somewhere, Pieliedie would be nice in Alliance. C9 keep only 2 players. T___T Please be just rumour. Barring internal issues that we outsider dont know, Aui potential returning to school and bone7 visa issues, I really do hope they stick together. They are championship-calibre team with great skills, just need to be less clowny at crucial time, but overall there are still a lot of room for growth. And fuck Alliance messing up with EE-sama again

Stay together for fuck sake. Makes even less sense for pie to leave his current team and join alliance when C9 is clearly the stronger team atm. I mean, assuming there are no internal conflicts. If there are... i hope they can be resolved. The guys seemed to all enjoy being on C9 and seemed to enjoy playing together. But obviously there might be stuff happening behind the scenes that we don't know about. But i hope they stay together ![]()

They still won a decent amount of money, if the teams shuffles I don't think it will be because of players retiring to go back to school... Pie in [a] makes no sense, even if he does leave the team.

It's most likely that loda and/or akke going to retire, and with akke retiring, the best swede support they can get is either zai (not gonna happen) or pie. unless the all swedish shenanigan thing is also gone with loda but make sense or not, fuck this
