I guess they really did retune it. Its much less annoying, but there are still things that are faster, do more damage, and have more hp than you. most things should have more hp than you also, act 4 sucks... ignore that place like the plague. I seriously suggest act 1 fields of misery, feels so much like d2

Also, will do. | ||

And no PvP. Cool I'll pass thanks. My buddy today at work "Dude! I heard Diablo 3 is coming out for Xbox! Should I get it?" Me: "Hell no, you should buy Diablo 2 for PC instead" Him: "Hmm, guess I'll stick to Borderlands" Is there same console multiplayer in D3 for console? Because if so, I think that could lead to some amazing times, and eventually be better than the PC release.

I started to like SC2 much much more when HotS came out, and I'm feeling the same will happen with D3. That is if everything they have promised us so far are accurate.

I always take the "I won't get it" comments as people venting and trying to make the publisher worried about low sales. But at the end of the day, if the expansion is good, people will get it.

Not only that, but people forget how much of an improvement D2X was over D2C.

I've found enough good gear now that I can do Uber Ghom/Uber Rhak on MP5 now and I've put in maybe 300hours~ish. Maybe, I dunno. It was HC, if that makes any difference. When I stopped playing before, there really wasn't all that much choice on the HC AH and it was pretty tough to make gold. I could afford one high end 10-15M item but that was it. EDIT: Slightly OT, but my armory thing is http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/dmfg-2106/hero/6403553 .. 19.5k dps used to be barely) enough for inferno Belial as monk, but it seems like people are doing 10x or 20x that now :o

Now the expansion is raising the bar on what many think as "the rock bottom off expectations." So of course its going to look better. Hell it already is better from the patches and the tuning since many people stopped after 1.3 (difficulty nerf) and 1.4. I think the expansion will do well just because they're working with low expectations while everything looks better than before. If they only added UI customization or minimalist UI, offline play, AH optional restrictions and maybe active dodging or other console specific improvements I think people would be sold.

I dont mind paying for lvl 70, paladin and a new act if they are well made though. The characters are still all retards. Sure, let's put the super-powered evil artifact in a random catacomb instead of keeping it in the high heavens where it could be safe. Eternal conflict is no fun if it isnt eternal i guess. @clutz: i could imagine an expansion pack via ps store. I dont know if it has been done before, but i dont see a reason why it shouldnt work. @killy666: Then they better stop producing follow-ups. If it wasnt called diablo 3 but instead "kill the demons" i might not have the expectation that it comes close to d2 but instead regard it as a fun game with a potentially good expansion and a good patch policy. Not a game that was supposed to be the better d2 but was a worse titan quest (with xmas mod).

They are going to implement loot 2.0 and the paragon changes with a patch for D3 vanilla too, for free.
