It was a response to some two people who were angry about the console version having better items. I think it will mostly be around may-june next year for d3c, with a beta around jan-feb.

He has everything you would ever want, immunity to CC, over the top movement speed, attack on the move, great defense, amazing DOTS. if they break WOTB a barb will only have cc brek for a few seconds every two minutes, so not to huge of a nerf to get that out of the way. If they increase the movement speed cap from gear + new paragon level, it might become closer (as it stands now barbs are soo much faster then everyone else its silly). the rest they could add to the other classes without to much problems imo (new skills can balance it out). And we dont really know how the new legendery affixes will effect old builds

I feel like the game has no difficulty playing as a Barb a lot of the time. did you play at the begining when Barb was the worst class to play? DHs WDs and Monks have a cc break on short cooldown. I would say that the really big thing with barbs is not the damage as such but the movement speed at which they can farm

I know Furious Charge breaks a few types of CC, also Whirlwind too. No they dont break them, you can avoid being hit if you are in mid movement with both leap and charge. I have played a barb to paragon 100 and two witchdoctors one in hc just clearing inferno and one just resently to paragon 10, very few things can even touch a witchdoctor and with spirit walk togheter with horrify and stalker rune you move very quickly. if witchdoctors had a movement modifier just like sprint added, I could probably farm better with a witchdoctor then I can with my barb. for lower mps acid rain is awesome and for higher zombie bears works pretty good to. DHs however have no real way of getting any kind of efficiency on higher mps however so they need to take a closer look on how to make them more viable there.

I still dont see the cc break thing as a problem, Wotbs immunity is big because you can keep it up 100%, as well as givining huge bonus to damage, survivability and movement (I dont understand why they even added a rune for keeping it up longer)

Theres a 1-handed sword with +attacks like an Echoning Fury that would put the +36 tick / 3.3333 attacks per second within easy reach. (Bonesaber of Zumakalis) Console - http://i.imgur.com/9ABhmUH.png Current PC - http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/the-ancient-bonesaber-of-zumakalis

For example you can be good enough at boss to compensate for gear instead of just steamrolling it with proper gear? Not completely, but I think it will be better. I think there was an interview where they talked about dodging boss abilities, and instead of D3's model where you either get hit for a truckton of damage or avoid for zero damage, you get hit for less damage the further you dodge, but can't ever reduce it to zero. Probably a move in the right direction, since D3's bosses hit so hard at the start that there was no point even trying to gear defensively (in softcore) so you might as well have 1 HP for all the good it did you. If they turn dodging into a partial damage reduction, you will still need some minimal gear level X to kill it, but X will vary depending on how good you are at dodging (instead of requiring you to dodge everything or die instantly).

What I see from console is the awesome game D3 could have been if it wasnt for the Auction House, where the game is designed around what you yourself find and get.
