iamtrickster United States39 Posts September 25 2012 19:14 GMT #81 I am running somewhat unique build I am sure ofcourse it is no where near MY OWN. But it works EXTREMELY effective. In my opinion this is the best and most versatile Wiz build out there right now for high-end gear Wiz w/ MAX dps. Gear: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/ZyceR-1205/hero/23962323 When buying gear: Life regen, Life regen, Life regen! THIS IS KEY TO THIS BUILD. Keep in mind this works with ONLY with a certain % of vit. Too much regen and it refills u to fast which is wasted..Too little regen and u take too long to refill life. I figure these timings are the BEST. -W/ force armor u take ONLY 35% DMG MAX. @ 1 HIT. W/ whatever ur regen is..it should refill u in about 3-5 seconds max! SO roughly u need 15% regen per second of ur life. So for me...I have 30k life. 2100-2400 life regen is IDEAL. Regen is EXTREMELY cheap because people don't understand how amazing it truly is...Think of it this way. -1400 Life on hit = 2800 Life regen ( WITHOUT HITTING ANYTHING)....truly remarkable. -All resistance is helpful but not ALWAYS needed...I do this build perfectly fine with only 300+ all resistance.I hardly ever die. I can stand on descreator...molten...anything. Because of massive life regen. -When it comes to dps...believe it or not the slower ur attacks per second...THE MORE UR CRIT DMG IS. - I perform 106k dps (crit for 400k) @ 1.21 attacks per second. - ILLUSIONIST PASSIVE IS A MUST! Anything else is optional ( This allows u to everytime u get hit...take the initial 35% dmg.w/ force armor. Then teleport out of the way and regen life.. Then get hit again, take the 35% dmg ..because once u get hit again ur teleport cooldown is restored. -Also Dexterity isn't NECESSARY. But keep in mind (Dex. = Dodge rate) More dex..more chance u have of dodging attacks! So with my build.. 1.Lay a hydra down everywhere as ur walking around. 2.If anything hits u, use crystal shell and teleport out of the way. (Life refill in 3-5 seconds) 3. Spam seeker and kite around + Celestial orb 4. Keep dodging attacks and keep perform like so. BONUS TO THIS BUILD?? - Can transition to pretty much anything you want. - DID I MENTION GETTING BUFFED? 1.0.5?(Seeker missle gaining 15% in dmg) - Allows for maximum dps - Impossible to nerf unless they nerf force armor from 35% to maybe 50%? But in no way shape or form has that ever been brought up. -Somewhat cheap to gear because doesn't require much ias gear or all resist gear (mostly crit chance, crit dmg) If anyone has any question about this build please feel free to PM me. I clear act 3 so easily and I can handle any monster/elite/boss....

Reivax Sweden214 Posts October 01 2012 09:21 GMT #84 That's some sexy gear Marshall, but wouldn't Lacuni Prowlers be better as bracers? You're only at 12% MS after all . 150 million buys you some pretty good Prowlers on EU at least.

Serpest United States603 Posts October 01 2012 17:16 GMT #86 Pretty happy with how easy it is to do A3. On the ptr, I could comfortably farm MP5 as well. All the gear I found - except for the bracers. Had some pretty decent luck with that too.
