A lot of people doing t6 are using the 4 piece earth set instead of 3 piece + RRoG, the RRoG is replaced by the unity follower bug.

I actually dont at the moment haha, been using Tgods for as long as I can remember. sort of like the belt for the cc reduction, which puts me at close to 50%. Im guessing witching hour is what I should be aiming for? and what other options are there? nothing looks very impressive to me tbh.
is there a way to do T6 without the unity thing? all that does is double your toughness right?

The best belt atm is Harrington Waistguard, followed by probably a Hellcat Waistguard, it can roll 5% elite dmg plus 6% atk speed (which isn't very useful for hota/eq build). It might be worthwhile going for a tanky belt like String of Ears if you are struggling on higher torments. The 30% melee dmg reduction is pretty huge.
It's pretty hard to get good rolls on witching hour even if you manage you get your hands on one.

dang, I salvaged that belt before... why is it so good, the buff doesnt last very long and it doesnt sound like it would be up for much as I dont remember seeing chests very often.
I didnt really like hellcat on eq build though, the attack speed is wasted for 80%+ of my damage, and only 5% elite at the cost of 2 defensive attributes and potentially useful secondary sounded pretty costly.
Ive been gambling only belts now, so Ill try w/e I happen to get I guess.

It doesn't just count chests for the boost, it also counts loose rocks, bodies and anything clickable. It even counts opening the non-destructible doors.

Anything you have to click that may drop loot counts. The armor and weapon racks are very common in certain areas, as are bookshelves, demonic vessels, scarecrows and pretty much anything that replaces chests for flavor.

your comrades can not open stuff. wich makes it alot worse if you run in 4 man groups

Yup, you kinda have to run with the same people who knows not to click on all those stuff. On some maps, think the battlefields in act 5, there is so much to click I wouldn't want to click on all of them myself.

Yeah. I personally keep both a WH and HW on me and use the best one for the current map. Harringtons is pretty insane on a map with lots of clickables like Battlefields of Eternity (almost 100% uptime there with all those armor racks)
Only thing is you have to hope nobody else goes click crazy preventing you from getting the bonus.

After tons of hours farming to get either IK or EQ sets and failing miserably, now I see myself with a Raekor set... this shit is amazing, never ending fury, coupled with the buff to seismic slam I feel allmighty.

Apparently Tall Man's Finger is working on barb's CotA right now, in some demented fashion. All 3 of the summoned warriors are triple sized, and they do ridiculous damage. Hotfix inc lmao.

How recently? I saw a barb with big summons like 30 min ago, unless they fixed the damage and not the size (which would be amusing if it remained that way)

Blizzard confirmed they're going to hotfix it on reddit.com/r/diablo. If not now then it will be fairly quickly. The same is done with Inna's 4 mantras being usable on other characters.

Moses on his stream got 3 IK pieces in one day, so it's definitely possible.

I hit 70 on my barb 2 days ago and I already have two pieces of MotE (both gambled), and only 1 rare left out of all my gear. I had a couple good leftovers legendaries from having other characters (namely weapons), but the rest was grinded or gambled, and I only crafted Reaper's Wraps. I'm actually surprised myself, because my "serious" character (wiz) still has a handful of rares and no real synergy items. I just took a fresh approach with my Barb and realized I've been doing it wrong (or just being lazy) until now haha.
Hoping on getting at least 1-2 more of the MotE pieces in the next day or two and crossing my fingers for a RoRG in-between shard runs if I get lucky.
Edit: I do quite a bit of Rift It Forward, if that matters. So gambling those set pieces probably about 2k to 3k shards, tops? If I had to guess by memory.

i finished the vyr's and tal rasha set in less than a week with the community buff. so its certainly plausible.

It's not so much the community buff. I'd hazard a guess that most people who are finishing sets so quickly are using Kadala.
I think letting her give you set items is a bad idea. Shards are too easy to get and you can easily get what you want from her.
