But Brazil, Qatar, and Japan are some examples of nations/cities getting in over their heads. Olympics should be held in EU/UK and USA since we have stadiums for days in almost every major city. There would be no need to build anything besides updating infrastructure. Stadiums and teams bring in revenue and employment. They increase land value depending, and they are a welcome distraction from the realities of life for some people. Why include Japan? It's a rich country with cities that have much higher population densities than many US/European cities. If the Tokyo Olympics don't draw crowds, somebody is doing something really wrong.

Only now, 14 years later, are most of them used as regular soccer stadiums (albeit only third league in one case). Also, the upcoming Games in Tokyo are already making headlines for ludicrous amounts of planed money spending.

i always thought he was gonna end up in dallas. "We've been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field. Johnny's continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization. His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time." www.clevelandbrowns.com
