Just like the last two games, it's hard for me to favor the Broncos going into the Super Bowl, and people said Peyton Manning was heading into a buzzsaw the last couple of weeks too. The Broncos just keep winning, however.
I was heartened by what I saw from the defense yesterday. We need them to play like that again if we are to stand a chance against Carolina, because there is no way we can score 49 points to win a shootout.
But even though I am a Bronco fan, the Panthers were my favorite team out of the NFC this year, so I can't be too unhappy with whatever outcome. I just hope its a decent game.

As for Ginn, has his route running become more polished? He's always been fast and shifty but getting him the ball as a receiver hasn't been the easiest thing in the world unless his team gave him short routes.
yeah that's what I've felt any time I've seen them this season. Hey that wr made a nice route and play - wait, Ted Ginn actually ran a play other than put the ball in the hands of the fast man asap?
I'm always a sucker for sports people finally putting it together though
I like that in the Panthers, yet another D first, smashmouth team is going to the Super Bowl.
Aaaand the Patriots "part ways" with their offensive line coach. I'm curious if this means they think the line could have been better with the people that were out there?

how many rookies were they playing on their line this year? at least 3 right? and like a shitload of combinations? just hope my boy Shaq Mason can improve. Seemed to get pretty consistent playing time but his PFF grade was pretty bad
I look forward to hearing "defense wins championships" at the start of the game and "dont count denver out just yet" all the way through the end where cam will claim his rightful victory

that man will gnaw off his own broken mangled arm if it meant playing

Am I missing the joke? Didn't this happen last year?
I was wondering if I was too. it's actually the 3rd year in a row cause Denver vs Seattle was also a battle of #1s
Sorry it was my mistake lol. I thought NE was #1 seed and lost the home game couple years ago. It was the wrong year. Fuck they've been in too many AFC championship games in the last decade and I got them mixed up.
Chargers are extorting money from the city and the fans. Rams basically are forced to move since the NFL doesn't want to try and bring St Louis community back. San Diego is prime location because of weather.
As an aside, I'm a student of one of the major urban design/planners of the City of San Diego. He and a few others have this really beautiful masterplan of what to do with the Mission Valley area if the Chargers would have left that would have brought much needed public space into the area. Now that the money is staying, this idea will never see the light of day. (Look up Mike Stepner/Skyport Studio - Mission Valley masterplan) Mission Valley Plan
Johnny Manziel is being investigated by police in Texas for what they described as an altercation between the troubled Browns quarterback and his ex-girlfriend.
Although Manziel hasn’t been arrested, the Fort Worth Police Department released a statement Saturday afternoon explaining it’s “actively working” with Dallas police “to determine if a criminal offense occurred.”
Fort Worth police were dispatched to an upscale apartment complex at about 2 a.m. Saturday after receiving a phone call about “a possible assault,” according to the statement. Officers didn’t locate the caller but talked to a 23-year-old woman on the scene who said she had been involved in a disturbance with her ex-boyfriend, Manziel.
The preliminary investigation determined a possible assault had occurred in that jurisdiction or multiple jurisdictions, per the statement, but the complainant was uncooperative with officers
He won't last another 2 years. He's causing too many problems that a lot of owners and coaches aren't going to deal with. He either matures and gets his shit together, or he'll have a very short career.
