I think we've talked about this on here before, but am I taking crazy pills for thinking he should 100% be in? They're obsessed with total career stats, even though a number of HoF receivers and potential HoF receivers had a lot of below-average years in their career. Calvin had a dominant 3 year stretch as probably the best receiver, and 5 of the 6 remaining years he was arguably top 10.

Rams basically are forced to move since the NFL doesn't want to try and bring St Louis community back. San Diego is prime location because of weather. As an aside, I'm a student of one of the major urban design/planners of the City of San Diego. He and a few others have this really beautiful masterplan of what to do with the Mission Valley area if the Chargers would have left that would have brought much needed public space into the area. Now that the money is staying, this idea will never see the light of day. (Look up Mike Stepner/Skyport Studio - Mission Valley masterplan) Mission Valley Plan i really want to see every city start to say no to sports teams and sporting events like the olympics/world cup etc in general, i wonder what that would actually do.

There also seems to be some sort of collective butthurt there over Terrell Davis not getting into the hall of fame due to lack of longevity so anyone who played less than 15 seasons or so gets accused of not being in the league long enough because DAVIS COULDNT GET IN ITS SUCH BULLSHIT

If they give the city something worthwhile and is legacy-proof, then I'm for it. But Brazil, Qatar, and Japan are some examples of nations/cities getting in over their heads. Olympics should be held in EU/UK and USA since we have stadiums for days in almost every major city. There would be no need to build anything besides updating infrastructure. Stadiums and teams bring in revenue and employment. They increase land value depending, and they are a welcome distraction from the realities of life for some people.

IMO there is no WR glut, because just about all the alleged "glut players" are an obvious no, save Chris Carter. Reed for instance is laughable.

The report is that he told the Lions he was retiring when the season ended, and Caldwell told him to think about it some more and he agreed to that. Since that point, I don't think anything has happened.

Let players "show off" in skills/combine and give each DIVISION a flag team for a mini tournament. edit: regarding Megatron and the Hall... any player that breaks a Rice record without it being a fluke season deserves a nod - but maybe not first ballot. The biased fan in me says 1st ballot :D
