He's recruiting a bunch of injury prone misfits. Well part of Kelly's supposed genius is with how good he should be at preventing injuries. I guess if he really believes that himself and is successful he might be doing something good (I pity the Eagles fans).

I mean you went out and found the one QB in the league less mobile than Foles at 10x the cost. If Bradford gets injured, like many fans expect at this point, then things are going to get REALLY ugly in Philly. I thought for sure he'd be a trade chip which is even more confusing because I thought he was untradeable in the first place! I don't know what Chip is doing with all of these injury prone guys. I might be quietly exiting the bandwagon.

Graham has 386 receptions for 4,752 yards and 51 touchdowns in his five-year career. The oddsmakers at Bovada noticed, making the Seahawks 5/1 favorites to win Super Bowl 50, up from 11/2. The 49ers, following the departure of offensive lineman Mike Iupati and running back Frank Gore, along with the retirement of linebacker Patrick Willis, have fallen to 33/1 odds. Damn colts taking Johnson. Wonder who the backup plan is?

Loved his honesty and transparency with the "we'll never mortgage our future" and the "it's not baseball, there's a salary cap, my competitors aren't idiots and have to get something back" lines. I'm back in on Chip! Yeah using this logic the Shady and Maclin moves were good (esp not reupping Maclin at that $$ - silly signing). The problem is they've yet to make good use of that cap space. Kiko + any of the better rb options would be nice. Turning Shady into Kiko + Matthews isn't so nice. And it's not like the WR options left are that good

And it's not like the WR options left are that good I agree he's made some weird moves with the newfound cap room, but his transparency was refreshing.

They obviously wanted to make a play for established playmaker recievers they were looking at thomas and Johnson and got Graham just wondering who they will go for instead of Johnson (damn that would of been nice if he was healthy). Also grabbed Will Blackmon which I think wasn't a terrible idea.

I'm pretty sure Wilson wants a great team more than he wants an extra 10 million or whatever so they have more than people seem to assume. Graham was definitely more expensive than Thomas, so they couldn't hold onto dreams of Andre Johnson. I guess Nate Washington is the closest person left but he's just not the type of matchup Seattle was looking for. Maybe there is a trade/draft play I'm not seeing yet? But I doubt Carol doesnt get the receiver he's looking for.

Giving up the 2nd rounder hurts but if Bradford does get injured again we essentially gave up a 2nd round pick for a 3rd round pick, it's not great but I think that's a worthwhile price to pay to get a QB who Chip feels will fit into his offense well. In the end, I don't think this team could be anything more than a divisional round contender with Foles, so I like the plan of solidifying the defence, not mortgaging the future and kicking the tyres on Bradford. I think Chip needs at least 2 years with personnel control. Apparently the rumors are saying that the GM (Roseman) made the call with Marcus Smith, so this draft will be important for Chip to show that he knows what he's doing.

I wonder if it's a bluff from Murray to get a bigger contract and a bluff from the Eagles to eat up salary cap of division rivals. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12462796/demarco-murray-personally-reaches-chip-kelly-express-interest-philadelphia-eagles
