Defense hasn't been made better enough to warrant throwing everything into the offense. With Murray the Eagles def have great running though! Sproles and Murray, with Polk giving em some runs off, is probably the scariest running attack in the NFL. The question on the offense remains Bradfords abilities to stay healthy and play well even when healthy, as well as finding somebody for Bradford to throw to. Cooper ain't exactly a barn burner. As for the Cowboys, Jerry Jones lol. His bluff blew up in his face. Losing Murray to a division rival. Now I need to hope they don't get AP. Reading some Cowboys forums it's embarrassing how ok, if not happy, a large amount of them are with losing Murray the player, regardless of money issues. In for a rude awakening this year on offense if you don't get somebody as good. | ||

I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing for the Cowboys to let Murray walk since he's gonna cost a pretty penny and as good as he is that line probably has a bigger hand in his huge year. But by not signing or giving up on him quickly, they've pretty much missed out on the rest of the top RB FAs. They better hope they get Spiller if they don't get Murray because he's the only one even close to being a 2-3 down back. | ||

Via Rotoworld Updating a previous report, free agent RB Ryan Mathews has not signed his contract with the Eagles. With the Eagles now courting DeMarco Murray, Mathews may back out on his $11.5 million deal. Murray would dominate carries in Philadelphia, making Mathews a backup with a very limited role. He's certainly aiming to land somewhere he can at least be part of a two-man timeshare. That wouldn't be Philly. | ||

via rotoworld ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent DeMarco Murray "is expected to" sign with the Eagles. Which now begs the question of whether Ryan Mathews will back out of his contract. With Murray going to Philly, Mathews will have a much harder time earning built-in incentives. We'll wait to make the Murray deal official until he signs on the dotted line, but the Cowboys appear to be moving on, too. Reports indicate they've begun reaching out to other free agent running backs. | ||

and yeah, essentially they got rid of McCoy and got back Murray, Kiko, and some cap space. I think that was a smart move. I f they can replace Maclin with someone decent they will be fine e: the Cowboys better be blowing up Spiller's phone right now | ||
