I see the final score is relatively close but it looks like you got a ton of points in the 4th. Was it actually competitive or was it like GT vs Notre Dame in college this weekend where we were losing 30-7 with 3 min left but scored a TD, recovered an onside, and scored another TD to make it look respectable but were really whooped?

Jets should be killing these Colts. That depleted secondary is profoundly bad.

This game is pathetic. Colts look like shit and the Jets can't capitalize..

I'm traveling for a conference in Dallas and couldn't find a place with the game on so I can't comment but it sounded like the beat the crap out of us.

Is it too soon for the Eagles to bench Bradford for Sanchez? Sam looked like the worst qb in the league Sunday night.

One thing about hypothetical Graham utilization is that he's not much of a run blocker, so utilization in running downs is fairly weak. If Graham is a strong run blocker a la Gronkowski (NE) or Witten (DAL) SEA could disguise passes as runs or runs as passes or audible in and out of runs and passes into matchup problems.
But as others have said, Graham is mostly a route runner and is more like a slotted receiver rather than a big hole creating run blocker. He's prototype of the new Tight-End, all hands and jump and little bulk and push. Whatever your thoughts about the Max Unger and Graham trade, Seattle hasn't made the most of the trade because they haven't exploited Graham talents all that much by not throwing to him at all.
I'm rather thinking that Tight Ends should be a bit more of the run-blocking build so you can be dual threat on the run and the pass. Because if you want a pure receiver, why not just sign a WR instead?
it's about match ups. Lined up as a TE, even with sub par blocking, teams either have to cover with a LB for threat of run and risk getting beat in the air, or go nickel and then risk seattle running it down their throat. even with his ho hum blocking, Graham is more than capable of pancaking a 5'10 180 CB. Lining him up at slot and moving to TE, or vice versa, also can capitalize on this.
Again, I wouldnt woorry much until about halfway through the season. Preseason and camp aren't the same as real time games.

This is a reminder that ESPNFL said Luck was better than Brady already.

/r/nfl is probably loving it. they hate Luck

If a team sucks by game 5 then they actually suck. Think the pats showed last year the first 4 games have a preseason type lag to them. As much as I want the Colts to blow this year I can't write them off yet.

I think the Colts overall are an overrated and flawed team and that has nothing to do with Luck, who is as great as he is a ogreish looking mother fucker. He's had incredible numbers esp considering he's had limited passing options, a mediocre D, and virtually no run game to speak of.
As much as I think they're a 6 win team without Luck, I think their start is more of a product of the offense taking on two big time contributors, and moreover some really shit line play. They play in a shit enouhg division that I still think they'd really have to suck to get under 9 wins.

Hes good and could very well be great, but a lot of "experts" are trying to make it like hes already a top 3/5 qb when hes not yet but could get there.

I think it's kind of funny how they have turned on JJ Watt though
