Are you trying to say Rodgers is overhyped? That's like saying Brady is overhyped, if you're one of the best ever I'm not sure you can be overhyped.
I love JJ Watt as a player, and by all indications he is an excellent human as well, but even I am getting tired of seeing him everywhere. Can't blame him for living the dream though.

TO's trying to get the Cowboys to sign him. Might not be a terrible idea until Dez is back. http://news.yahoo.com/terrell-owens-wants-cowboys-sign-152808003.html
The last time Terrell Owens took the field for an NFL team, he actually wasn't half bad. He was just a shell of his former self during his time with the Bengals in 2010, but he still managed to catch 72 balls for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.
That was FIVE years, though, so it's kind of crazy to hear that T.O. is still talking about possibly making a comeback in the NFL. During an interview with Rich Eisen yesterday, the former star wide receiver—who is 41 and almost eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame at this point—revealed that he had his agent reach out to the Cowboys recently to see if they'd be interested in signing him after losing Dez Bryant to injury. T.O. told Eisen that he promises he would be on his best behavior with the Cowboys this time around, which wasn't always the case when he was playing for Dallas from 2006 through 2008.
"We all know what happened when I was there," he said, "and there were some things said where it may have fractured the relationship between myself and [Jason] Witten and [Tony] Romo. Time has passed, and hopefully they know that I've moved on beyond that, and maybe hopefully they have. But for me, it's all about giving myself an opportunity. That's all I ever really wanted."

I think Rodgers is the best QB in the league, but there's even a joke on the sub that it's basically Aaron Rodgers facts subreddit. they could compete with ESPN Stats and Info for random ass stats. Then they spend the rest of the time whining about how everyone else loves certain players too much and how hipster they are for likeing Aaron Rodgers and Antonio Brown

Rodgers is pretty much the only top QB who is still in his prime. Luck is not there yet. Manning, Brees and Brady are old. Even the second tier like Big Ben, Rivers, Eli, Romo are past their prime. Flacco and Ryan are still behind those guys.
Problem with JJ Watt being everywhere is he just lacks the sense of humor that Manning and Rodgers possess. He just comes off as a one-dimensional football player who doesn't have anything else in his life other than football.

OH MY GOD I MIGHT BE SAVED.
In my 2QB league I had Romo but I also had Cassel on the bench just in case the Bills QB was a buster.

He's still gotta beat out Weeden!! I mean I would imagine Weeden is 100% the starter at least this week. Look what happened to the Vikings when they tried to play Josh Freeman immediately. Cowboys only had 2 QB on the roster so they had to get someone else or leave Cole Beasley or McFadden as the backup.

not even an upgrade with the system they will put in. garbage clock manager that knows the playbook > slightly less garbage clock manager that has to learn on the fly

I can't stand it when Pats fans say things like this. Look, we get it, your QB is still really good. But he's not what he once was. He's really, really good, but Brady in 2007 with Moss was disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. It was basically indefensible.
And any Pats fan (not that I've seen any here but I'm sure there are some) is lying to themselves if they say they'd take present day Brady over Rodgers.

Brady actually has better stats through his first two games of this year than he did in 07. Brady has the same strengths and weaknesses he's had his whole career. Outside of the first quarter of last year there is nothing to suggest he's fallen off from his prime since 07. When he falls off you'll know it because it'll be headline news I'm sure.

Cam has been getting to the playoffs and winning games with no team for 3 years straight. Newton is more elite qb than Wilson or luck.

Newton is like those twonto me in that his talent is ridiculous, but his performance level ( sometimes on subpar teams) is still not up to his potential.
That said, you are a fool if you think any organization is measurably more competent than the colts.
Edit, I'm a fool, I mean less competent than the colts. Its impossible to be worse than them.

And the Panthers have the easiest schedule in the league. Next week a brees-less Saints Tampa Bay x2 Falcons x2 Titans Giants Eagles Romo-Dez less Cowboys Redskins
Cam could singlehandedly win all those games for the Panthers. They have a good shot at winning the division.
Jerry Richardson is just as competent as Bob Kraft

Newton has horrid accuracy. How do you put him in elite qb status?

Of course he does, he just threw for 466 yards! He's not going to be this good all year, it's simple regression.
Are you going to simply ignore the fact that he was 22nd in Y/A in 2013 and 21st in 2014? And to even compare 2007 to 2015 as apples to apples statistically is unfair, as it was a different offensive league. Brady led the league in Y/A in 2007 at 8.3 while leading the league in completion percentage and yards (which is insane). However, the same total would have put him a relatively distant 3rd last year.

On September 23 2015 19:27 tonight wrote: Newton has horrid accuracy. How do you put him in elite qb status? I think the argument is that his overall affect is one of an elite QB. I don't know if that's totally true, but I do agree with the sentiment that you can't compare him just on numbers. Although Rodgers and Wilson are good runners as well. I think he's basically taking a holistic view of the offense. Cam misses a ton of throws he should make, but he erases some of that by being such a threat on the ground. The net effect is that defenses still have to respect him more than they would on accuracy alone, leaving Stewart and the WRs a bit of extra room.

lets see cam win a playoff game before he is anything but a running tony romo

Truth. the real test of elite is winning a playoff game and why the hate for Romo, Dallas is 77-48 with him and 6-9 without Romo is for real. he makes a bonehead play every now and then but so did Favre
But just in terms of Fantasy i would call newton elite most leagues give more points for rushing yards. so his 40 yds rushing makes up for the -4 points due to his two picks
