Only 2 point's difference between 1st and 8th in the west, while top eastern team is even lower than that. The difference is really interesting and odd. TSN.ca Article It is projected that there may be a 20-point difference between what it takes to make the playoffs in the Eastern and Western Conferences this season. The Winnipeg Jets are a new member of the Western Conference and the adjustment has surely been difficult for the team. If the Jets were to finish just over 100 points this season, they could possibly miss the playoffs because of the strength of their conference. Had they remained in the Eastern Conference this season, they would have more than enough to earn a spot in the playoffs at that level..

The goals the first line make are some of the most beautiful in the league. The actually correct answer is Capitals if you don't count Ovechkin. TBH even if you DO count ovechkin it's still very lackluster.

Maybe if Bernier gets super hot at the right time. But otherwise if they get lucky and run into a weak wildcard team like Detroit theyll make it past the second round.

TBH even if you DO count ovechkin it's still very lackluster. I've watched every game this team has played in the past two years. They have maybe two "beautiful" goals all season. The rest are just fluky, scrappy goals. We're sitting at 2.54 goals per game, with only 6 games of 4+ goals and 4 of those games had empty netters. The offense has been holding this franchise back for a good half a decade now and it has yet to change. Yeo's system has taken marginal steps, at best.

Dem Oilers. Also, wtf TSN is now dead. In Canada Rogers Sportsnet and CBC have all the rights to the hockey. RIP TSN? I dont even like TSN, I just mostly have a buirning hatred for Sportsnet's awfulness.
