Crosby leading in points is o_O
Crosby leading in points is the most expected thing ever...?
I know its early... But man the west is dominating the east.
Like... hard.
Bottom eight teams in the league are all in the east. Top five in the league are either in the east or all have played about 80% of their games against the eastern conference. These standing are NBA like.

In 88-89, Lemieux had the most goals, and was tied with Gretzky with 114 assists. In 86-87, Gretzky did it, with 75 more points than his teammate Jari Kurri. It's probably harder than winning a hitting Triple Crown in baseball.

Best east teams can hang with best of the west.
debatable. The West + Boston all play more or less the same bruising style that the puny teams of the East cant handle.

Yep, Leafs were to busy admiring Chicago tonight. hue. We gave their D too much space and time among the other problems. Really could use Clarkson in the line-up but even then I have a hard seeing much improvement.
I knew the Wings would lose tonight after seeing the Tigers get lit up with the grand slam and sure enough Phoenix randomly scored a bunch of goals in the 3rd. Detroit sports seem to lose when they play on the same day.

rangers look like ass; mike smith is still an ugly shitlord. god i hate him.
but yeah, rangers look really bad all over. defense looks like crap. offense is at least excusable without nash, cally, hagelin in the line up. but fucking hell....

how longs he out?
No word yet.
Eakins used the phrase "Probably longer than 2-3 days." Which means pretty much nothing.
red wings are going to get into the playoffs this year wholly thanks to being in the weak east. but boy do they have a shit ton of holes everywhere. fuck you ken holland.

I'd say they will make the playoffs solely because they don't bother signing guys who can do nothing but fight. Every other team in that division has 2 or 3 of those guys.
