Yes, they're only the invitees. It varies from country to country. The Canadian roster was announced Dec. 30th last time. I'm expecting them to announce the roster around 4-5 weeks before the games as well.

I'm still really pissed that Jack Johnson, Erik Johnson, Seth Jones, Justin Falk, Cam Fowler, Dan DeKeyser, Jake Gardiner, Brooks Orpik, and Jacob Trouba all got invited to the USA roster camp...

and Matt Carle did not. It's fucking mind-blowing. I kind of hope it's some deal where Carle said he didn't want to play, because Carle is better than every one of those guys. Shattenkirk, Suter, and McDonagh are likely better players, but everyone else is on the same level or worse. Dan DeKeyser has played 11 regular season games, Trouba and Jones none.

I don't mind it so much, considering it's great experience for the youngsters to mingle with the boys. It's not like everyone at that camp will make the team man; although, I think USA is more prone to using the guys they invite compared to a few other countries. Let's see how it plays out.

Ott's post was part of their "viral" campaign for the new jerseys, that's just the alternates for the next season. They're still teasing the regular ones.

I have no clue wtf Leafs are doing because they have to know that every single team in the league is going like, yeah we're not going to trade shit for any of your players because we know if you don't do something soon, then either Franson or Kadri will be on the market and they're worth so much more than whatever crap you could try to trade with.

It's not like Subban was the only one offered such a deal. Lots of GMs are doing it because of the salary cap. ;/
