apparently yes but nobodies sure exactly what would happen.
found this from CNN http://money.cnn.com/2016/07/06/news/economy/trump-nafta/
TPP is dead since it never got proposed. which possibly means Taiwan is going to start beefing up relations with China.
Koreas worried he'll kill the trade deal with them as well. not sure if they'll let him rework that one because most of them already see it as being US favored

from what I can see the big winner from all of this is going to be China. BBC even wrote an article on it

you should keep us all updated on this crime wave that is sweeping the USA. also, include all the police who choose to arbitrarily ignore crimes because Trump is going to be president in 2.5 months.
how much under-reporting do you think is going on because distraught victims realize they'll be ignored by law enforcement front line officers who everyone knows all voted for donald trump. i read somewhere that 58.5% are going unreported at least 19 out of 20 times with a standard deviation of 1/e.
more seriously, this is all hearsay and you can't establish causation without a lot more evidence.

My mother voted for Clinton but was rooting for Trump. My father voted for Johnson and wanted Clinton to win.

i'm just glad the USA has a libertarian party

Apparently Ben Carson is the likeliest candidate for Secretary of Education. He has some... good views but also doesn't believe in evolution... ugh this is actually the anti-liberal timeline.

Meh I don't think I'll post in this much anymore. I don't really think we're going to have interesting conversations in the next (hopefully) four years.
I wish you don't end up too much worse, and I wish we all survive this.

That was given at the end of October and was talked about quite a fair bit in this thread at the time.

The social mediaverse is talking a whole lot about Bernie Sanders. I think his movement may yet see an outcome better than getting to play a minor role within the Clinton administration.

I really like his stance on lobbyists, it would at least be a start.
I hate the fact he writes "clean coal", damn this guy should never have a word to say on anything directly connected to global warming.
As someone working in the hospital, he's totally bought by the pharmacetic lobby. 4000 drugs waiting for approval, don't approve them minus a few exceptions. It's a mess, in France we're working with thousands of drugs while the Netherlands are doing the same job with a few hundreds that they pay at a lower price so there is absolutely no need of thousands of different drugs.
The wall paid by Mexico is in the list...
I can't tell for the rest but it seems a bit too much on the tax cut and I thought the Americans wanted to spend less on the military and intervene less, given that recent wars have not been very popular.

It's been a fact for a while

Well we couldn't risk nominating Bernie, we have to go with a the candidate who has a better chance of winning this election.
I would also like to hear more about how he wasn't enough of a friend to the establishment so it is justified for the DNC to conspire against him.

Restoring Community Safety Act. Reduces surging crime, drugs and violence by creating a Task Force On Violent Crime and increasing funding for programs that train and assist local police; increases resources for federal law enforcement agencies and federal prosecutors to dismantle criminal gangs and put violent offenders behind bars.
Restoring National Security Act. Rebuilds our military by eliminating the defense sequester and expanding military investment; provides Veterans with the ability to receive public VA treatment or attend the private doctor of their choice; protects our vital infrastructure from cyber-attack; establishes new screening procedures for immigration to ensure those who are admitted to our country support our people and our values
Last time I checked, USA was nearing a police state status already, lol.

Those back rooms though, meetings of the spineless congress. Who is their boss, the guy in the White House, their donors, their constituents, or their ideologies? I am very curious to see how the house breaks.

Stop it. I won't name names, but there are clearly Trump supporters who have been more and less graceful in victory. Let's just say that, to the extent that some Trump supporters have taken victory laps around here, it's been far more subdued than what we saw from the other side in 2012. Strange, I don't remember things being quite so bad back then. Though I wouldn't say that there was anything particularly disgraceful I saw among the current winning group either... Ask the few conservatives who are still around from back then. We remember. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I remember you being a conservative either. I swear I remember you being something of an Obama supporter - though you posted with the same concision that you do now, that made it difficult to tell. You must have been high. Huh. I guess intermittent participation makes it hard to remember who stood for what. I'm drawing a blank in trying to recall most of the participants from back then, much less what they stood for. Looking back, I only remember about 5% of the actual posters. Memory does play tricks on you. So for shits and giggles, I went back to the 2012 thread just to see if my recollection was accurate. It basically was, but what I'd forgotten is that I'm the only conservative regular left from back then. Danglars had a few posts, but he wasn't really that involved yet. And more to the point, I was basically "the" conservative guy in that thread. So instead of saying "we remember" when referring to the victory laps of the liberals in that thread, what I really should have said is "I remember." You can see the festivities start here, with various outbreaks of me being tea-bagged here and here. Consider this my gift to all of the broken-hearted Hillary supporters. Thanks. I can still vaguely remember that. I also remember feeling sympathy for you lol.

Shout-out to the liberal education juggernaut successfully corrupting an entire generation of our nation's youth. Nazis attempted to do it and failed. USSR attempted to do it and failed. But these unapologetic Marxists pulled it off, an entire generation of useful idiots out in the streets protesting a man most left-wing outfits regarded as the most progressive GOP candidate there has ever been just a year ago.

Holding a position that no one else supports you for holding is not a very fun thing to do. I know I've been there plenty. For what it's worth I think xDaunt handles it pretty well - and I've definitely learned a thing or two from his approach to this all.
Still, it's interesting to see how things changed and didn't over time. At the end of the day, I guess "you win some you lose some" is what it really comes down to. A lot of people treated Obama then the way they do Hillary now, which is sort of mind-boggling to me personally.
So I was talking on FB with a few friends about the election, and ultimately it turned into a game of citing The Dark Knight to describe this election. I particularly liked this one.
"I just did what I do best. I took your little plan and I turned it on itself. Look what I did to this country with a few emails and a couple of FBI investigations. Hmmm? You know... You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying!" - Joker

I would also like to hear more about how he wasn't enough of a friend to the establishment so it is justified for the DNC to conspire against him. The coalition he built though, I divide them into three main camps, the deplorables, the hurting blue collar workers, and the brick throwers who are very angry. Bernie shreds two of those pillars of his support. He even had the audacity to suggest a 50 state strategy, not the 7 state strategy Hillary's campaign ran.
