Just waiting for her to actually go full SNL skit.
Her attacks have gotten increasingly desperate and poorly researched.

Please try to write actual serious posts if you're going to participate in this thread. If you sincerely believe that any objections people are having to the idea of Trump as president stems from his role on the apprentice, then you are a moron of the highest order and frankly unfit for participating in these discussions. Over the past several hundred pages, there have been literally hundreds of posts where people are posting their legitimate qualms about Trump's rhetoric and political positions, there has not been even one reference (until your post) about his role on the apprentice, and yet you somehow decide that the latter, not the former, is what people see as Trump's negatives? If you want to post here, be genuine.

a lot of people are responsive to the red meat trump throws out at the group identity level. they dont have the internal alarm educated liberals do with respect to race etc.
then under common mis or low info about policy trump has no glaring negatives. given same ignorance about policy they are also easily led about hillary.
politics as spectacle being more accurate as a description of democracy in actual practice is just unmistakble this time around.

the first truly postmodern election is now upon us, ehh?

Apparently the irony went whizzing past people's heads, though at this point in the game it's unsurprising. Let me lay it out to you: Hillary Clinton led the charge for healthcare reform back in '93, and Bernie Sanders was barely involved (this could be said for many things he professes to care about). This picture could be taken as further proof Bernie doesn't remember or that he is ignoring the fact that Hillary was doing healthcare things, or more symbolically that he was a follower or some sort of potted plant when it came to the issue.

If that was the case I'd finally be able to get vanilla coke without having to cross a border.
Not many benefits beyond that though...

...What?
People flock to Trump because in a country (and world really) where people are increasingly focused on everyone but the majority, the majority itself is starting to get annoyed.
This whole thing is hilarious to watch. I still can't believe people were so dismissive of Trump's odds. It's like they don't even know what the american populace is like.

New polls show Bernie -6 or +2 in Illinois, after being down 20+ couple weeks ago. Very close in Missouri and close enough to perhaps pull of an upset in Ohio. Will be an interesting Tuesday I think. Damage control in FL and NC most likely, especially FL.
HRC has had a terrible 48 hour cycle between the AIDS comments, the shitty Donald Trump violence empty-suit statement, and the lolworthy healthcare in the 90s attack. She better hope he doesn't pull off 2 or 3 states on Tuesday. Bernie winning Ohio/Illinois/Missouri would be terrible for momentum/optics.

politics as spectacle being more accurate as a description of democracy in actual practice is just unmistakble this time around. Good lord. This is some seriously elitist bullshit. You can't just excuse all of Hillary's numerous flaws under the guise of voters are stupid. Likewise, explaining away Trump's rise as identity politics completely ignores the very legitimate grievances that his supporters have.

Well at this point I've decided that polls probably don't mean anything. Besides the Michigan upset earlier, it's been pretty unclear whether or not any prediction actually reflects reality. All the polls say Clinton and Trump win everything in every state by a landslide but so far that has not been the case.

Even if we grant you that version, which we don't, as it is bull, that version still has your candidate very openly lying on the stage in order to discredit her opponent. Does that bother you somewhat? Earlier you said it was disgusting that Bernie was so dishonest because he was pushing for things that you don't think he can actually do, now you have Hillary being dishonest because she's saying things that she knows are false, which is the actual definition of dishonesty. And you stand with that.
