He can't lose it. Trump losing the nomination will guarantee a Democrat wins in November.
The only way Trump doesn't get the nomination is if he chooses not to take it. Say what one wants about his rhetoric, but his game is tight. He saw a weakness in the Republican party and pounced on it and has the party by the jugular.
Do we have an over-under on how long before this thread turns into a full blown Stormfront lite page?
As long as the whoever is president can demand enough respect from European nations to do business with them then I'm happy with it.
Maybe I'm misreading Europeans, but it seems virtually all of the top tier Republicans would be laughed off the world stage as troglodytes (positions on climate change and evolution being prime reasons)?
If the Us government was a business, it would have gone bankrupt several times. No politician has ever gone bankrupt because they don't have to do anything but raise money from taxpayers and superpacs then squander it.
Apparently comes back and has questions on the construction of the border fence and deportation (just google, RCP had some transcripts.
Ahh Ramos. Never stop anchoring for Univision. Oh and props to Trump, building 94 story buildings ezpz, border easier and less complicated.
Ann Coulter intro'd his Iowa speech.
Keep making headlines Trump. It's driving even ¡Jeb! to cover the issues. It's not the man it's the re-centering of the debate on issues the elites have dismissed (ala everybody knows illegal immigration is a net positive, everyone knows its only racists that are concerned with catch and release illegal alien policies and sanctuary cities).
Ann Coulter 53. She looks like she is using dead fetuses or something to maintain her looks.

I don't mean to be rude, but even properly stupid people must see that he actually doesn't really have a concept, but just tries to fish for votes that are easy to get just by being more racist than others. He's an arrogant, ignorant bigot, that can't be a serious contender - for any sane person. European medias make fun of him (and his flip flopping, i think it's called?), why is that not even an issue? Trumps defenders in this thread praise him like a fricking saviour, a person who literally made money by driving his businesses against the wall?
Let's be honest here Europe has it's fair share of populism as well. European media making fun of Trump but not our own politicians is hypocritical at best.
These are the populists in EUrope out of the top of my head: Jeremy Corbyn at Labour in Britain Geert Wilders in NL Front National in France Podemos in Spain Syriza before they got elected in Greece and Golden Dawn AfD in Germany although they collapsed Danish people's party in Denmark Finns party in Finland
Yeah, most of them don’t outright deny climate change. But acting against it over other interests is an entirely diffrent story. The part that alienates/amuses europeans is the rethoric, mainly rightwing, US-Politicians use to actually justify their stances.
EU has its own set of Trumps, but I don't see the same level of furor about them. But the EU has its own racial problems to deal with.
And I love that the only thing people took issue with my shot about his business filing BK several times. All that other stuff I said about him being a bigoted nightmare that is literally fueled by this own ego, denies climate change and is against vaccinating children. That stuff was just true.
Regardless of her political beliefs, I feel bad for how much shit Megyn Kelly has gotten from Trump. The particular things he's said about her are completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Hating on a moderator for trying to hold you accountable for your own rhetoric? Hating on someone for being a woman? How is this guy the frontrunner of one of our two political parties?
As others have said already the EU has its own trumps and some of them actually say worse things then him. Trump wants to close the borders and throw out illegals. Wilders wants to throw out everyone from Marocco, even legal immigrant.
I think the difference in perception comes from 2 things. 1) our elections tend to be less of a circus. Campaigns are much shorter and less media heavy so it appears to be less of an issue when compared to the US. 2) Even if a Trump gains power in Europe their actually presence is limited by our democratic model. Lack of majority for a single party means that they are often excluded from governing by other parties if they dont win really big and even if they get into the government their ability to push radical policies is again limited by the need to maintain alliances to keep a majority.
On the flip side America is in an election of some sort almost permanently and the 2 party system + filibusters ect means that once 1 side becomes 'crazy' it can have a profound impact.

No, i never said so either. How many of those people had a shot at the US presidency? Apart from the fact that more than half of what you quoted are not persons but parties - we're not talking a party, but a candidate. Geert Wilders gets made fun off pretty much everytime he pops up in some form of media (last time i actually read about him was when he was visiting the german "Pegida", another thing made fun off).
What medias don't do, is make fun of parties. You're right there. They voice concerns, in that regard - for example FN and UKIP (as long as you're not a daily mail reader, then UKIP is the saviour). But they didn't make fun of the democrats/republicans here either, but Trump.
If you listen to the real experts on the subject, Trump has numerous electability problems. But that isn’t the focus of the media coverage around him. The thing about U.S. politics is that the process of getting nominated for president isn’t regulated nationwide and the only thing you need to do to run is say you are doing it. The parties managed the process and the amount flow of money was more restricted. But now there is unlimited money that can be hidden in any number of ways so the circus gets louder and louder. And Trump figured out he could be louder than all of them and could get unlimited coverage by doing outrageous things.
But also, it isn’t really clear of the majority of Americans are in election mode. A large number of them might just being watching Trump like they watch a car crash. And waiting until they feel it’s time for them to make a decision.

But it's not a business. Financially, it's very little like a business.
This is like saying if the US government were a basketball team, it would be in last place. #GregPopovichforpresident!
Ramos acting up is pretty symbolic if you think about it. Ramos didn't wait for his turn to ask a question, just like illegals don't wait for their turn to get citizenship. No respect for order.
That said, to go further, Trump let Ramos back in near the end and let him ask his questions. In the end, Trump is the bigger man and includes Ramos in the conference, despite the initial provocation. Well done.

A pair of television journalists at a CBS affiliate in Virginia were shot and killed during a live broadcast Wednesday morning, and authorities say they are in pursuit of the suspected shooter.
Authorities said they are looking for Vester Flanagan, a 41-year-old former WDBJ-TV reporter who went by the name Bryce Williams on air.
The victims, WDBJ-TV reporter Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, her 27-year-old cameraman, died shortly after the shooting, which occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, Va., near Smith Mountain Lake.
Part of the shooting was captured on the air as Parker was interviewing Vicky Gardner, the head of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce. According to the Roanoke Times, Gardner was shot in the back and taken to a hospital for surgery. Gardner's condition was not immediately clear.
A chilling, 25-second video posted to a Twitter account appearing to belong to Williams shows what appears to be the shooter holding a gun behind Parker and Ward during their live shot, then firing three shots as Parker tries to flee.
"I filmed the shooting," Williams tweeted after alleging Parker had made "racist comments" about him.

I really shouldn't have to explain to you that the comment afterwords is pretty shit. But you seem to be set on being a nihilistic.
