No, Unless they radically changed how the anti-mech missile works, it had a rediculously long cooldown in previous versions that would make it pretty impractical for killing workers.

seems pretty fast/good to me. a few warhounds would wreck a mineral line. but this would probably be a situation where you would WANT to manually cast the missiles (provided they work on workers), you would not want the missiles going on the same target as the railgun. wasted damage and all.

Thats the thing though, it was.. Checking the costs, you got pretty much as close as you could have done. 2100 resources of stalkers vs 2025 of Warhounds.

Every six seconds, you get an extra attack that almost kills one worker? I'm not sold, I mean it's a good idea, but I don't see it EVER beating out the raw DPS of 8 stimmed marines, or the AoE of 4 BF Hellions.

Remember warhound requires tech-lab and is very expensive. So you won't have too many warhounds. When do you see more than 20 tanks? Very few times.

What? It has 6 sec cooldown and does 30 damage. If you played HOTS custom map of Xenox, 2 Warhounds completely destroy worker line because of missiles and solid attack speed(1.3) that does 23 damage per attack. Of course Hellions are better, that was their only purpose, purpose they are pretty good at, killing workers, but saying Warhounds aren't good in killing workers is false.

warhounds = marauders with missles.

It's not just a bad, boring idea for a unit that adds nothing to the game other than a hard-counter. It's what Artosis would call, "the easy button".
