What information should a profile contain? Why do people look at profiles?

A: to get information on a players skill, how much they play, what their normal race is.

If someone got diamond in season 1 by 4 gating successfully 4 out of 5 games but has been gold for the past 7 seasons, what information should be displayed? If the got a master team with 3 other masters in 4v4 but they are silver random 2v2, what is the most intuitive and user friendly way to display the information?

Hint: Not the way it is currently displayed.

Profile should contain:
-Current season win/loss record, league and leage/global ranking for 1v1 and 2v2
-Total career games played and total career wins
-Most played race this season
-A grid showing your win/loss percentages against each of the other races (similar to wc3)
-A customizable area to add a quote and website (similar to wc3)
-Links to further drill-down statistics (win loss record per map, average game time, most often built units, average unspent resources, etc, etc)

Also, I want to point out that I really like the league / league rank system. I think it's fun to say "I'm in diamond league rank 1". But it should be displayed alongside a global rank.

its self selection. People who like it probably wont post, they certainly wont make a petition about it. Those who hate it are far more likely to speak out.
