His final box score is 1-10 FG 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 stl 1 blk, 2 fouls and 3 points in 27 minutes. Yea... Just got home and didn't see the game but I can't blame you for getting pissed seeing a line like that. My god...

Anyone who says LA will definitely win is clueless or hasn't watched the series. Denver has a chance for sure, and Lakers are at risk. In the last 3 games Denver has been the better team, whether this will translate in a tough win in LA isn't certain but there's a possibility.

To be honest the real culprit isn't Kobe, Bynum or even Gasol. The rest of the team was awful. They just refused to take any shot, letting Denver get away with double teaming on every iso (and Kobe still managed to score despite that...). I don't know if they have instructions to never ever shoot or if they lack confidence but even "competent" shooters like Sessions, Barnes, or Blake never punished Denver. It's easy to play basketball 3v5.

No. The Lakers bench has ALWAYS been bad even in the regular season, but they still managed to finish with the three seed and looked like the definite superior team in the first two games of the series even with lackluster bench play. Gasol and Bynum are two of the most important keys to the Lakers. Neither of them showed up in game 6 and the Lakers got absolutely crushed as a result. You cannot take any blame away from them. They are too important to this team to have a game like they did especially when the third of the big three was sick and we needed them the most.

LOL, who on earth ever said that (I'm guessing no one here, so I you find a link, please share), the one thing I'll give credit to Boozer for this season is not getting injured, but that doesn't warrant his paycheck :<

It's easy to look at the stat sheet and say that the big guys didn't play well but it's just not that simple, and frankly not completely true. Just look at Pau this game. There were quite a few plays where you had him in the low post, and Sessions/Barnes at the wing. Sessions was left with an insane amount of space every time, but wasn't doing anything. If this keeps going on what is Pau supposed to do? All that's left for him is a bad fadeaway, which he took a few times and didn't make. Granted, he didn't shoot well this game but he pretty much did what he was supposed to. Same thing for Bynum and Kobe, except he's a guard with more range so he's harder to double effectively (and he's Kobe... not to mention he actually had a great game despite the sickness). Denver wasn't playing as well in the first 2 games, and wasn't abusing the lack of confidence of the role players. The Lakers badly need them to shoot if they want to win the next game. It's the first time in these playoffs that I see point guards and wing players with that much space and not even trying to do anything. Sessions and Barnes were especially bad.

Even if the Lakers won this game by some miraculous performance by Kobe a la Flu Game 2.0, Kobe would still be pissed.

And while thats true to some extent offensively their energy levels were nowhere near they needed to be. They sucked at protecting the pain, they just didnt show up to play really. You can have a poort night offensively but atleast do what you can control and Defense is one of them. Yea Bynum got 15 boards and all but that isnt really a good picture. You could see the way the Denver bigs were giving a win or go home effort. Someone pointed out that Faried play last night where he managed to miss and lose the ball like 3 times in a play with Gasol standig not 3 feet away just looking. I mean get in there. They were frustrated and it got to them and they became somewhat petulant aswell. Kobe probably got frustrated to, his reaction and theirs were miles apart. Just look at the way Asik played last night. Hes not even remotely in the same league as Gasol as Bynum. The lakers couldve used more of that then what they got from Gasol or Bynum.
