according to Day9, sometimes its good to click a little less so you can work on your precision
but yeah the main thing is just practice, practice with the micro and the macro, and then switching back and forth between them as fast as possible

Was going to link this. You should actually try SLOWING DOWN when you play. No more spam clicks just play calmly. I dunno how you're at 100 APM I avg 110 as Zerg and I'm at about ranked 1000 NA on sc2ranks (Master League). I know you want to hear surefire ways to improve APM but that will be useless if you don't work on everything else first.

You do not want high apm. The lower your apm, the better, because this means all your clicks are effective (assuming you have enough apm to macro and micro of course). Usually 80-100 apm late game is fine(don't even bother getting your average apm to 80, as long as your late game current apm is 80). Early game apm is mostly negligible, because there's not much to control. 40 apm is pretty common in the early game, even among pros. Once you feel comfortable with the ability to multitask and you've become very fluid in macro and micro, then you can consider spamming to keep your fingers warm during the early game. But that is personal taste, and the excess apm doesn't actually benefit gameplay other than staying quick and sharp.

I do watch Day9 Psy HD, and Husky
In fact i love Day 9's channel the best....
But I've been playing Starcraft 2 for about 2 monthes now....and I'm currently division rank 6, but I still find opponents beating me when it comes down to massive army engagements....So I'm thinking maybe I'm microing wrong.....Should I post a link to one of my ladder games?

Yes post your replays. Most likely, you are losing due to one of 3 things.

1) Your army is too small. When you watch your replay, look at the population count and the army tab. If his army is bigger, there's the reason you lost.

2) Your army positioning might be wrong. As a zerg, try to gain as much surface area on the opponent as possible. This means surrounding the enemy before attacking, if possible. It also means not fighting in narrow corridors and chokepoints.

3) Your army composition is off. His army might simply be composed of units strong against your units. Make sure to counter your opponent when you scout, and constantly keep tabs on his composition.

If you macro'd well, you wouldn't be in Bronze. Edit: And I didn't just say this to talk shit, rofl. I said this because your main problem is macro, not micro. You don't need to micro till high diamond.

But anyway, the only way to get better micro is to micro, the only way to get higher effective APM is to do it during a game. Spamming will not help you what so ever.

When you're in a game, figure out what you need to do at any given moment, and do it. You'll probably find that it's not your APM that is limited, but your awareness of what you need to do, and ability to remain calm and do it.
