Terran/Protoss player wins = Well, it's hard not to win when you can do something like that. He had no excuse not to win (vs. zerg). Terran/Protoss player loses = Yeah, he was really outplayed by his opponent. have to agree with this. it'd be hard to disagree with the fact that artosis lets his zerg bias show too much in the casting.

This is all very exaggerated by you. Maybe he does it is when the map is Lost Temple or Delta Q., where there's an obvious imbalance. Watch JSL - Kyrix again and tell me that he was biased towards zerg or didn't appreciated JSL's skills.

My only gripe is how they, quite often, repeat the same thing in different words. They find something funny or interesting and talk about it a bit too much. However, I'm sure it can sometimes be tough to fill in all the time between matches. There are new players being introduced to the GSL every season, and it's not like they all have long and interesting backgrounds.

Especially in the current season, there have been so many games already where they routed for one player from the very beginning and basically made no secret of who they wanted to win the match. Again, this is mostly from Artosis' part. And regarding the latest match - Leenock/Clide (minor spoilers): + Show Spoiler + Again, so much Zerg bias it's almost not bearable. Terran defends with a mediocre army and miraculously survives? They mention it while panning the camera over the Zerg bases. Zerg builds ultralisks? Artosis literally screams in excitement and can't wait for the Zerg to win.

At moments I just wish they would be more neutral. You need like 30secs at the start to figure out who are they rooting for.

Now watching him with Artosis, I think he lost that freedom he used to have. When I first saw them on GSL 1, I thought that Tasteless was going to be the main caster and Artosis the commentator as common sports broadcasts usually are. However, what I see is that often Artosis just get the command and start narrating the game and saying whatever he has in mind leaving Tasteless kinda just hanging there. And as the OP pointed out, Tasteless just follows Artosis lead. It seems that he is kind of insecure of himself to disagree sometimes or to just have a different opinion. I wonder if we would get the old Tasteless back, with the good ol Pandabear Guy jokes, if he was the main caster.

As I see it; tasteless is there for color while Artosis is there for analysis. So I see no point in tasteless trying to argue or disagree with what artosis says, as that is his assignment in the castingcombo. I couldn't agree less. + Show Spoiler + They were praising clide for his tenacity throughout the game, saying how he could get so much out of his units. Leenock surprised them, as they thought Clide was the better player, so naturally they gave him the praise he deserved. Also Artosis was the one saying that Leenock should tech switch to Ultras, tasteless was the one who noticed and orgasmed, not artosis.

They are constantly praising Clide. In fact, haven't they made the (somewhat dubious) claim that he's pretty much the best terran?

I am certain that some, or maybe even all, of them are really trying, but it can only be benificial to know the language of the country you live, and cast in, properly. And I also agree with all of OP's point, at least to some degree. Again: Artosis can speak Korean. I'm not even sure what this has to do with caster feedback.
