PvT is really tough for me because the collosi are so easily countered by vikings that I'm almost afraid to spend the money on them. If I go with storm/sentries, I seemed to get easily countered by the EMP from ghosts (and it's not like you need too many of them either to really inflict the pain). If I run into Thors, the upgraded cannon seems to demolish immortals. Honestly the only way I win anymore is hoping the Terran goes MMM without any ghosts after I've teched to HTs otherwise I seem to be getting steamrolled. There's a really good chance that I just suck at the game and that's why I'm having so many problems in this particular matchup. But the lack of protosses in the GSL certainly does make me wonder what the problem really is and if it comes down to the protoss players just aren't as good as the other races or if it's imbalanced. Regardless, I really hope things start to change and we start seeing some protosses perform well at the GSL despite their limited number.

Are you sure you are attacking right? Because I usually end the game with 3-5 Colossi before my enemy could counter (Platnum). If I lose, I lose early to stim + MM.

so many 'TOP' protoss died in the friggin QUALIFIERS! AGAIN! =O Brotoss is starting to look pretty bleak... And to people who say that tournaments aren't a good indicator, suck it. 1 tournament isn't a good indicator. But three? Of the highest level play? With the participation of the top US protoss (who failed to qualify)?

With the participation of 2 out of 3-4 of the top NA protoss (kiwi and huk, the third one would be tyler, you can also count TT1 in too). Still, even if there are imbalances, protoss still just lacks a standard-solid playstyle which none of the pros has developed - in PvT there are still tons of weak timings all the time, I'm confident that these will be worked out in the next couple of months. For example early immortals haven't been used nearly as effecitvle as they could've.

Maybe blizzard meant for protoss to be playing in a way different than they are currently played.

Main race I play is protoss, and I like it's style and the high-techy atmosphere it has. I do not intend to change my race, but to train myself to be a better brotoss. I win most PvP mirror matches I play (on 1v1 ladder). It's around 50/50 when I'm against a terran, and it's ok, managable. But I have serious problems versus Zerg. I have identified the reason why I have such serious problems. -If I want to repel a rush, I need to sacrifice economy to do it. At least that's how I feel, if I prepeare myself to repel rush, I get behind in economy. And then if Zerg doesn't do a rush afterall, I lose simply because I can't keep up in resources. -If I want to compete with a zerg in macro, I need to sacrifice my early defence: build gateway later, delay unit building and things like that. If I misunderstood zergs intentions, and he attacks after all, I'm dead almost 100% certain. I feel like there is no "safe middle ground" I can do to see if he is going for roach rush or just delaying his expansion for a minute or two. NOW I KNOW I have a lot to improve and my play is nowhere near perfect. However it really feels like that there is not much I can do. I recently watched HuK replay and saw him (try) cannon rush vs a fast expanding zerg, I tried it too and it worked miracles! However the very next game I got a "Random" player on a 4 start position map, scouted his position last (turned out to be zerg) and by the time I got there I already had to build gateway and 2nd pylon so that cannon rush thing feels awfully volatile and unsafe thing to do. Maybe I just need to send 2-3 probes at start to find his location FAST FAST FAST FAST FAST? Now once again I'd like to say I know I'm very newbie compared to SC2 veterans residing here in TL.net, but I do feel very frustrated because the early game seems to be such a gamble that I can't get a good grip on it. But like T and Z players like to say, maybe I'm just not good enough?

If the map is so imba blizzard should remove it, or if they want to keep horrible maps for toss then toss needs a buff to deal with it. You cant blame GSL for using the official map pool.

The other names does not sound promising though in the sense that we have seen most of them before in the GSL so unless one of them did a Nestea, they will just be cannon fodders. It will be better if it were a totally unknown name.
