Poll: Most enjoyable race to watch?Zerg (149) 60% Protoss (68) 28% Terran (30) 12% 247 total votes Your vote: Most enjoyable race to watch? (Vote): Zerg (Vote): Terran (Vote): Protoss
What race do you find the most enjoyable to watch? Be it replays, streams, tournament casts.
Personally I find anything with a good zerg player extremely enjoyable.

I voted zerg due to muta and baneling.
Protoss is also fun when they go air or templar tech.
Terran doesn't really have any fun units to watch (banshee does too much damage with no random factor), except when they micro marines against banelings.

This poll is going to be 85% Protoss and Zerg, and 15% terran. Just saying. Terran mechanics are super easy, super cheap, super powerful, and uninteresting to watch.

I think a better question would be what match-up do you like to watch, my favorite to watch is TvT...

My favourite is PvZ. Most of the fun spells are in that with fungal, banelings, storms, vortex and forcefield.

So far Z is definitely more fun to watch, maybe because there isn't a lot of Zerg games out there?

That, with another possible reason being that Zerg are considered the most underpowered race.

Any zerg match up where the Zerg player wins (lol ZvZ). Usually they Zerg player does something spectacular to win, I love that about Zerg, its such an unpredictable race if played correctly.
|
I find zerg the most entertaining to watch, but I think that has more to do with there being fewer zergs out there right now. I have much more appreciation for a good zerg player than I do for the other races.
But I actually find watching terran more interesting than protoss. With a few exceptions, I personally find terran's units more appealing and interesting.

Zerg is very entertaining to watch. There is always so much going on.
|
Zerg by far.
There's just more mechanics to keep track of and watching a good player execute them all flawless is like art compared to watching 10 barracks selected followed by DDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I really like watching Protoss. Individual blink stalker micro, forcefields, carpet storms, feedbacks, although I hate the MS, its still fun to see it used and it actually works, phoenix micro with the graviton beam. Those little things just make Protoss, for me, the funnest to watch.
|
ZvP is the most fun matchup, Z is the most fun race, imho.
|
TvP with great players are the most fun to watch
|
I like watching terran more because they have many different oppenings and crazy strategies for every map. While other races are considered underpowered and thus require more finesse I don't find them all that interesting to watch mainly because their oppenings are almost always the same. And I just dont find watching zerglings run around all that exciting, but thats just me.

toss is still really cool whenever there's phoenix or warp prism play.
Even watching a toss struggle trying to take down a marine/marauder ball with gateway units is pretty interesting just because they have to play so much better.
Nothing really interesting about terran right now. it's all like, mm or helion drops. Thor drop was pretty cool back in the day.

Zerg. I love banelings, mutas and infestors. Even better if a game goes to Hive tech. I always enjoy long macro games involving zerg. I love seeing huge armies melt to fungal/bling and then raped by ultras.
Closely followed by Protoss, though, because of all the spells. It's always fun to see great FFs, storms, feedbacks and whatnot.
Terran can be fun at times, but I often feel like I've seen it all. It's the same thing over and over, most of the time. I love how Terran plays in BW, though, but there's something about SC2's Terran I find pretty boring to watch. Make more BCs, guys!

Protoss units seem rather weaker than Terran/Zerg equivilents for the same costs, so you generally see a lot more micro (whether it's stutter movement, FF placing, Psionic Storm, Blink etc) from Protoss rather than Z/T. Zerg on the other hand have to win by sheer overwhelming so you generally see a lot of Zerg attack a Terran/Zerg ball from multiple directions in an attempt to swarm and overwhelm in hopes that you come out ahead. Terran, sadly, just seem to be rather lacking with their "depths" towards their micro requirements, Stimpack makes moving out of harms way a lot easier, and means you can catch any enemy off guard and Siege tanks with air dominance sort of stalemate the game. At least this is my opinion as to why many people believe Terran are uninteresting to watch.

To defend T little, i think everyone is kinda sick of seeing T because of the large percentage of T players right now.
