Maybe they wanted to prolong the tour or something by inviting a player who never attacks and has an average game length of 1 hour.
Wasnt Morrow like a really talented BW player back before the switch to SC2? I remember him getting to second place on the TSL 2 ladder only behind Idra even though he was fairly new then. But i dont really know, i think Brat_OK would have been a better choice as a terran invite since he used to be a top terran for quite some time and is still quite known for his BW past. On those grounds he would have deserved it more. As long as we are going with inviting the "new-old" players.
I dont know about Morrow's style or anything. I wish him the best of luck and wont say no to more foreign terrans either.
Anyone know where to find Gold Rush and Crossing Field to download? I have not had any luck finding them and haven't received a map pack from the tournament director.

Its a real, real shame that Dewalt is unable to take up the challenge for Visa issues. Im not sure if he messed up, or if the authorities of russia (or possibly italy) are messing with him, or if maybe the time in between qualifiers and final are too short notice for the authorities, but either way its a real sad state of affair.
Dewalt is commited to the game for a long time and he won this rightful place. Lets not forgot there is a ton of money on the line and in personal opinion, Dewalt, he could likely have reached second place, looking at the lineup.

There always seems to be some randomness involved is my experience (I do recall world cyber games of the past having issues with one or two players from a particular country not being granted entry while several others from the same country got it, with no apparent reason given), or it could be that Dewalt applied slightly later. Or Notforu splashed some cash.

I recently had a Russian guy renting a room in my apartment. During that period I was renewing my passport. Being Norwegian and us having a highly efficient bureaucracy, the new passport was in my mailbox a mere two days after I applied for it. When I told him, he asked me how much I paid and what the difference in cost between 2 days and 1 month was - he was basically used to there being 3-4 different costs associated with any type of government paper depending on how quickly you needed it, according to him you could pay a lot and get it in 2 days, a bit less and get it in a week, a small extra fee and get it in 2 weeks, or you could not pay any extra and maybe you got it in a month. :p
I mean let me be clear, I'm not actually saying that notforu bribed people, I dunno anything about that. Can be lots of reasons.
Another thing to consider is the volume of applicants. There are times where it's busy and it'll take a month while in general, it may only need 2 weeks.

Thats true. In Moscow i pay 30€ for visa and 30€ for agency. It took 4 days - a standard period of time to get italian visa. You can always pay something about 450-500€ and you will get visa in 1 day if your documents are ok , but only if you live in Moscow. Dewalt lives far away and received his rejection 30 oct. Had no time to resend all docs even if he wanted to pay tons of money...
