How do you lose at that stage of the game having 4 gas for that long? I'm having terrible flashbacks to zergs pulling that kind of expansion strategy on me and not scouting it until too late. I'm fairly sure none of them ever just gave up their 4th like that either. ![]() | ||

Actually imo Ultras are the goal of late game ZvT. I think you might have it wrong here, you get defilers in order to delay terran enough and barely defend to ultraling with upgrades with 4 gas. Zero already had 4gas and had map control for a while, so the defiler skip was okay and doesnt hurt. The thing is, Sea like Flash has insane macro, and in order to even hurt the huge blob of MnM they can mass up you need to muster a large ultra force with both speed and carapace upgrades and flank efficiently while keeping all your bases. If he wanted to play that game he only needed to defend his 4th, thats all. If he managed that the game would be even. | ||
