Taking into account the maps, they couldn't have poised their players better. Was the perfect gameplan having your two best players be Terran on a group of Terran-favored maps? Even despite this loss, it's pretty remarkable Woongjin got as far as they did in WL on Terran-favored maps without any good Terrans.

Even despite this loss, it's pretty remarkable Woongjin got as far as they did in WL on Terran-favored maps without any good Terrans. Well... It certainly helped ![]() What they could've done wrong is put Sea first. Sea doesn't like playing first, while Light thrives on it. They could've sent out Sea earlier, which would give Woongjin a lot more chance to snip him. They could've not send out Light as first player. Though they failed, Jaehoon and especially Hyun are besides Light and Sea, their best versus protoss players. It certainly helped to tire Free out, which was noticeable in his match against Sea. So yeah, I do think it was a perfect gameplan, albeit a simple one. You don't have to work miracles when the first and last map is moon glaive with two terran aces, that's true. However, Moon Glaive is as far as I know mostly TvZ imbalanced. Woongjin has two good protoss players, of which neither played on moon glaive. It is remarkable that Woongjin got so far, but it is also remarkable that they never get any further. Given that Light lost to Perfectman (of all players), I think odds were good he'd have a hard time dealing with Guemchi on the first match. Sending out Kwanro on Tornado was understandable, given that it's a bad map for PvT. And Zero as ace was, although predictable, a reasonable choice. Though there might've been room to spring a surprise by trading Kwanro with Zero in the lineup, like Fakesteve predicted. All in all, I think the Woongjin coach's performance was uninspiring at best. If not for Free, they might've been humiliated.
