Hello TL I had some interest in hosting a February LAN in the DC area so here it is. If you can possibly come you should! It's fun filled times of SC with friends and fellow TL'ers. Don't worry if you don't know anyone, everyone who usually comes to these is really friendly and you get to meet alot of new awesome people! We have people typically come from Princeton, Maryland, the DC area and Southern VA. Players of all skill level come. Usually some people bring their F- friends who play in the tournament and everyone has tons of fun! Usually we all go to eat at some Korean bbq place afterwords too! :D

Tournament Details:
Ideally I'd love to have group stage into a playoff bracket but we need at least 16 for this. If less than 16 it'll be just a double elimination bracket if >16 we will do a group stage. All matches Bo3 with Bo5 for finals and 3rd place match. Map pool is: (Fighting Spirit, HBR 2.1 and Moon Glaive, Destination, Tau Cross, Medusa, Python, Outsider or if both players agree to another standard iccup map)

uhg, i just noticed that is on valentines weekend...Thats a little strange for me actually. Count me as tentative, I would need a ride from NYC area to over there. Obviously i can help pay for gas. LF - Not 'visiting too many open houses' -> We put a bid in for a house and the bank accepted the offer. There are a few more steps to go through, but it's looking pretty good.
Still going to be a No most likely. Having my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday, so I'm probably going to be a bloody mess in absolute pain while the LAN is going on.

this is tomorrow there will only be a tournament buy in if we get 16 or mroe. Not looking quite like 16... >!>!>! Again it's looking like 12 or so. Not bad but not as good as I know the D.C area is capable of.
If you've been watching all these sc2 streams and are itching to come chat about it with other nerds no better place and time to do this than 12:30 tomorrow at Seoul PC! Regardless of the turnout there will be a tournament with some sort of prize. (I will throw in some prize money just to make it moar kewl and it would be cool if others threw some in as well)
anyway hope to see you all tomorrow I'm gonna send out a round of reminder PM's for everyone who's completely forgotten about this by now.
also these 3 sc2 beta nerds (loop, Haemonculus, Storr) absolutely should come so they can talk about it and tell us all how freaking epic sc2 is... Haemonculus and Orb were raping face in 2v2 and Storr was steadily climbing into the platinum division when I stopped watching his stream... ^_^

well I can always get off at a different stop metro stop but according to google maps dunn loring is closest to seoul PC

sc2beta later on was by far the highlight this time around. HUGE props to both StorrZerg and Haemonculus for providing sc2beta access for us. having in house 1v1's of sc2 for the first time ever was amazing- getting raped in every 1v1 was not, (Storr and Haemonculus wai 2 good I call imbahax)
It'll be a while before I plan another LAN. Stoned if u wanna work something out for next month GO for it man. Most colleges have spring break sometime in March. I have no plans to host another LAN for a while.
Next LAN I do host I'll put alot more work into making it epic but that takes alot more work and time. I've been lazy the past couple LAN's and it sometimes shows in the turnout. (Also had shitty luck this month wiith changing the date and losing like 3 confirmeds and then having other tentatives still not be able to make it. oh well what can u do)

yeah my spring break is around middle of march sometime, so if nothing crops up by then I'll probably host somethin small at my place (sc2 beta possibly? when more people have keys....).
If nothing else, this weekend I definitely wanna do something for TSL finals.
