I sorta wonder if you could somehow make vikings work TvZ. They can overlord hunt, avoid or engage corrupters easily, and I don't think they'd be too shabby on the ground vs hydras. They could possibly be combined with a few ravens, reapers, or hellions for a very mobile army depending on gas vs mineral ratio. Main challenges I can see are holding off zerg early on, ravens would be more vulnerable to corrupters, and reapers/hellions don't share upgrades with vikings at all. Also zerg melee would be something they'd probably need cover for against mixed forces.

Alternatively, just get a few vikings to do some overlord harass and then transition to something else. I feel like vikings are the new corsairs, since they actually have a bonus vs most air units including ovies.

This actually works really well towards the mid game. Once you have a strong ground based army (Marine/Marauder/Medivac), you can use the reactor'd Starport to pump out 2 Vikings (100/100 each, same price as a Medivac) at some point and just kinda scout around the map and snipe any wayward overlords.

Additionally, if you find any undefended expansions, you can land the Vikings and kill drones then lift off whenever the defenses arrive.

lol you sure love cannons.

That last stream after you took on his main and saw him swap to hydra I would have just switched to leg-lots and steam rolled over em' since he was spammin spore at his expo.

In general games, some advice for you is rush for obs more and take advantage of whatever you find.
Your cheese rush worked quite well, just don't let em' breath if your at the advantage.

I doubt he even had one oversear that entire game.

Also, man-lots and carrier works really well vs zerg late game.

that match with the mass hellion on kulas you coulda just blinked down the hill on top of the tank instead of killing the rocks. woulda made the defeat that much fastah!
