Are you psychic? How do you know? If he did then he would of, but thanks MBC we'll never know if that happened.

This was the worst finals I've ever seen. The one hour wait before game 1 was just the beginning of hell to come. As game one progressed I got hyped up, in the middle of game two the initial delay didn't really bother me at all. This was after all the MSL Finals and I was watching a mechanical freak Flash timing dropping Jaedongs main. Game three could not have been more exciting, both players battling like true warrior from the moment marine #1 spawned. What happened then? Well first off, fuck you MBC. I will agree that Jaedong was at a slight lead, but not a huge one. He had his 4th gas delayed for a long time, all his defilers were irradiated and he had just gotten 4th gas set up. Flash had taken a 3rd base and still had a sizeable army. A dropship and a well performed push from Flash could have taken out atleast one geiser and it would be tied. I call for a rematch. Then what happens... yaay Jaedong gets the win... Flash's family gets roflstomped by kespa and the entire audience got the "wtf-face" going on. Finally game four starts and then it just basically ends like a random iccup game. No hype at all (well atleast not from me and a ~few other watching) equals>not the feeling of a Finals series. By the end of this rant I guess I can't blame people for being happy Jaedong won. Atleast he ended the finals asap without a 5th fucking set.

The question is if flash was seconds away from typing GG then why did he get so upset? I'm sure he would have accepted the loss if he knew he was going to lose but clearly this wasn't the case.

jaedong had the edge in game three, and probably would have won, but the possibility still remained that he would have fucked up an attack and that flash could have gotten his third up long enough to get back in the game. Still, the situation clearly calls for a replay there, even though both player's builds were exposed.

god game three was so so good. JD was playing so unbelievably well, if he had had time to finish the match that game would have been epic and then he would have had the momentum going into set 4. Fuck

Jaedong thumbed down Odd-eye because he knows that Flash and Terrans in general have an advantage against Zerg. I, along with many experts, would have expected Flash to have taken this game. However, Jaedong somehow was able to save his 3rd. But then, Flash came along with 50 marines and took it down, along with a good number of lings and ultras. Then Flash swung around to take out another expo. I thought it was over for JD. Then JD, out of no where, flanks around with a bunch of cows and lings, and wipes up Flash's army before he can take out the base. JD gets his 3rd back up and takes a fifth @ 7. Flash puts pressure on this but, with a defiler, literally at 5 or so HP casts a dark swarm and then another, and pushes Flash back. With the nydus there and defilers, and with Flash's low Vessel count, Jaedong had the advantage, with the addition of having map control. It was true that Flash could have come back. It was unlikely however given that JD had map control.
The person really robbed here was Jaedong. To take a win, on heavily favored Terran map, against someone so deadly against Zerg as Flash, that would have been JD's greatest accomplishment, or one of his greatest. The fact that JD couldn't get Flash to type gg - that is just extremely dis-satisfactory.

So, after all the lesson is: DONT FUCKING BRING YOUR DAD TO THE FINALS

So many were like "omg Flash will go with an advantage in the series since he can play standard, 14cc or 8rax".
Stop giving so much credit to players for the opening BO. JD got lucky.
I'm a JD fan and I couldn't sleep last night because I was just praying that JD would get lucky with his opening BOs. And he did.

Fuck Kespa, that was one of the most ridiculous judge decision I've ever seen (except for some boxing matches that were obviously bought). So much for Starcraft being a real sport lol, that is like basketball officials deciding that the team that was 82-81 ahead after 3rd quarter would have probably won abd thus no rematch is needed if the game can't proceed.
For me FlaSh is the bonjwa and I have to really think about keeping on watching SC. Shame on you Kespa, that was a robbery.

3-1 like this, 3-1 if the game had went on. Doesn't make a difference, JD >>> Flash easily. In his worth match-up, on super imbalanced MSL maps. What do you say about that? Nothing, you just keep thinking about unimportant things and concentrating on the wrong stuff.
When G3 vod comes out, analyse it objectively and think for a while.
GJ Jaedong, never doubted you ^_^ Too bad you didn't use Guardians properly in G2, or it'd be a crushing 3-0. Quit trolling Flash fans, you have 4000 posts. Yeah JD if you didn't mess up in game 2 you would have won!
Yeah Flash if you didn't mess up in game 1 you would have won! And then you would have been up 2-0 wow so cool! See the problem with that logic. JD definitely could have messed up in game 3 and like I said game 4 was ruined by external events.

pitiful, truly pitiful
it's like a life time chance hosting such an epic final, hundreds of thousands in bribery would have been well invested just so they could get this very match up... and then... major major screw up
sometimes you are helpless because of technical difficulties and it's not really your fault... but in this case i'd almost say they deserve it because of their shitty setup with those closed off rooms etc. - osl for ever.

So many were like "omg Flash will go with an advantage in the series since he can play standard, 14cc or 8rax". Trust me, we noticed. And also doing a bunker rush-counter build on the map, where it was most likely for him to play standard out of all the maps, since the map WOULD allow him to do so without being at a disadvantage from the start, clearly predicting Flash's bunker rush.

Games 1 and 2 were defined by uncharacteristic mistakes by both players (Flash's sloppy muta defense in game 1 and Jaedong throwing away his guardians in game 2). Game 3 was marred by the power outage, and game 4, Flash was very visibly broken. Whether or not you agree with the outcome, you cannot deny that we were just robbed of what could have been the greatest series in Starcraft history.

There's a huge difference in maintaining your mental state when you're down 2 games, and maintaining your mental state when your coaches and father go apeshit and threaten to pull you from the tournament. I think there's levels of mental strain that players should be expected to handle, but this goes well beyond what could have been reasonable.

In the end, MBC gets gold while Flash/Jaedong gets silver. GG

Jaedong was ahead, like 4 base vs 2 base. Flash made the brilliant move to drop and avoind the 6 sunkens or so of jaedongs and destroy jaedongs tech. But its not like Jaedong got rolled over.

Perhaps but Flash took a bigger mental hit than Jaedong did. Flash had pretty much lost that third game and I think he knew that, but then he saw his coaches and his old man go bonkers against the referees. That couldn't have been helpful while concentrating on the next game. Jaedong just had to wait really. How do you know that you think Flash lost? If he lost he would of typed GG.
It wasn't a certainty yet but JD had a huge lead. And knowing you lost doesn't mean you immediately have to type out. Remember set 2 of Flash vs Best.
And it's 'would have'.

Whatcha going to do? I'd say they should've done FvJ rock paper scissors. If jd won, he wins, flash wins, rematch.

While I was rooting for Jaedong to win, the manner in which he won leaves something to be desired. Hopefully both Flash and Jaedong continue to play well, and meet again in the OSL finals.

That said, he played awesome in every game and he deserves the win :D No he was not clearly ahead, the game was in the balance, if flash got that hatch he would have been in an amazing situation, the game was still on the edge
JD had 2 defillers waiting there, there was no way Flash could've got the hatch in the next few minutes. JD would reinforce with at least 4 hatch worth of ultra ling. Flash could only stream in medic marine with what mineral he had left off his natural and the freshly started expansion.
