I do it so often in TvZ, never thought it could be banned.. another thing is to use your own gas to pass through enemy units blocking the ramp.

How did flash micro his Vessels against Scourges against Shine? Fo you make a Z to confuse them or something until Marines kill them?

Can someone dig that replay where LancerX's (or another russian protoss?) zealot kills two marines with one hit?

edit: I think there was also a thread about it, if someone can link to it would be great.

it most likely the same thing, just that on iccup it is forbidden but it was allowed in kespa

It's like how obs over turret is banned on iccup but you saw people like Stork do it all the time in pro games since it is really easy to deal with.

ASL Teamleague is starting up soonish. They are probably waiting for SC:R to be out. ASL 4 comes after that.

How do pros use irradiate on different lurkers / units so quick when they have a group of science vessels selected? Also when mutas are stacked and one is irradiated how do they split them so quickly?

"Cloning," which is just rapidly shift-deselecting the icons on the bottom and re-issuing the command after you split off each Vessel.

For Mutalisks, sometimes Zerg legitimately hotkey their Mutalisks 1-9 or something like that (1 has 11, 2 has 10, 3 has 9, etc.) and just do # right click on the minimap when they are running from Corsair. Sometimes they just try to manually split them by selecting, spreading, and seeing which Mutalisk's health is falling fastest I think. Other times they use cloning as mentioned above.

edit: even if you fare well in many situations with what I wrote, check out Atom[Bomb]'s post below for detailed explanation

It's not really a trick behind it, it's just moving the vessel precisely, changing direction right before the scourge would hit.

Scourges have a bit of a delay on their turn if they're chasing something without being microed individually reaquire their target and interception vector once per second, so if you change direction with e.g. the chased vessel or drosphip when the scourges are really close right after the scourge reaquired your vessel/dropship as target, the scourges will travel on for 0.5/1 sec or so one second, giving your vessel the chance to make (a little) distance in another direction. Oftentimes this is enough for marines to shoot the scourges.

I think you can practice this by yourself if you open up a game with all 3 races, you Protoss, and mind-control a worker of Z and T and recreate the situation manually. Or use a unit-test-map if that exists for BW.

When i try to play ladder games on Fish, theres this red message in korean and i get dced from the server, how can i fix this? T_T i used to play just fine on 1.16...

EDIT: eonzerg alredy told me what the problem was, in case u have the same problem, you just have to download the ladder map pack for fish server.

Hi there!

We all know that for Terran 1 rax FE is the best build for learning. I wanted to ask what is the exact build order, since there seem to be 2 variations...?
One that seems kinda safer and is less likely to die to early zealot pressure for example. Its @9 depot @11 rax @ 14 depot (constantly pump both scvs and marines) and @18 CC .. afterwards rafinery and stuff.

The second goes @9 depot @11 rax (which doesnt produce any marines till u finish 2nd supply) @14 CC @16 depot (constant production of scvs but not a single marine untill ~18 supply).

I don't think that Terran 1 rax FE is the best build for learning in TvP, to be honest. I think that honor goes to FD.

In TvZ at least, the variant you opt for is dependent on what you scout/when you scout.

Other than cloning fast, it's important to use scans (usually at the zerg natural/3rd), so you can see any scourge and start cloning before you go in, so you have more time to get it right

Hey XenOsky- could you please possibly tell me how to download the fish ladder map pack for the fish server? I know the website I just don't know how to find the fish ladder map pack.

Never mind I figured out how to download the fish ladder map packs it's under Clan/League then League Official Map. Then click the Title links to download each map individually.

I try to play protoss first the first time, Terran got a little stale. HOW DO you guys do it? I started putting my nexi on 9 0 because I have to hit P every so often. That means I am less inclined to use the F keys. Then I put my gateways on 8 7 6, now when I want to move my army I feel like playing the piano, my teeny-tiny hands hurt, probably not manly enough to play them efficiently

Any hints, other than to man up? ;>

lol, I do nexus 0 9 8 and gates 5 6 7 replace gates with army later when needed, I dont rly use the F keys I feel like you don't rly need it to rally gates; to transfer probes faster when dropped is good but idc lol

Typically one would turn twice in rapid succession.

First turn is to fool the scourge interception vector(just before the calculation).
The second turn is to fly away and maximize distance from the scourge(just after the calculation).

Just to clarify, the calculation is instant, it happens once per second and the scourge will follow it's calculated vector until next time it calculates(which is about for 1 second).

Thanks for creds! I think I might publish a detailed guide on scourge ai on liquipedia for future reference.

Hope it's not a problem but I have 3 short questions:

1) Is ICCup still more active and more competive than its bnet counterparts?
2) Is it objectively better for a new player to start out on ICCup or is it an either/or situation?
3) Does anyone know how the 1.18 anti-hack/anti-cheat system compares to those incorporated in the mca launcher and the standard iccup launcher?
