Apparently so. 
Not sure what the bugaboo was... it was a pretty good discussion, and self-sustaining. Had gone for over a month, had lots of posts/participation.
What's ironic is that I've had threads closed because 'they wouldn't engender good discussion' (actual reason given).
So, we get a thread that DOES have a good discussion going, and it still gets closed??

Nah, 3-hatch muta on 2 bases, into Lurkers+4th hatch at either an easy-to-defend 3rd or another main and use the ramp to defend with Lurkers.
Edit: That is the standard Savior style at least, afaik,

So recently I realized that many goon range PvT builds in LP go gate -> core -> pylon -> range -> goon while all this time I've been doing goon -> range. My question is, is there any difference b/w the two?

Try the two and see if there's a difference for you?
I personally get range first so the goons don't bug out as much during crucial early game PvT moments. Also need that extra range to shoot at marines while staying away from tanks.

How is LT considered to be balanced? (I just lost a pvt on LT)
When i started playing bw, LT was still quite a popular map but I was already struggling in that map at that time...
How could it be so popular...

it's terrible for balance for a multitude of reasons. Only reason it was popular back then was because it was better than the other maps that were out there.

It was more or less balanced back then, (except in the really early days in which T had an advantage over Z in general). But now that Terran users don't suck at TvP any more, it's Terran favoured in TvP. It was always a Terran favoured map in the match up, but players were just bad.
Post Scriptum: All of this is just my own personal low level opinion. I could be wrong. I've played it as T and as P, and that's what I think.
