but if you could find a LAN center o something with BW and ask how much it would be to rent the place out for a day... that would be a big help~
Buy-in/prize : well once we find how much everything will cost, we'll know how much each person has to fork out, then we can determine a little extra per person to go to a prize pool. Bracket style : just make it double elim
that's pretty much it. I guess if anybody knows a good LAN location neat Irvine or whatever, or wants to go searching around for one...

I'm in Huntington Beach. I'd be down for a LAN or some kind of tournament. No clan stuff though, I don't have time for that all the time.
Panorama and [CF]Trident live in OC too. I'm sure they would be interested in this too.
PS- A couple years ago this dude held a lan/tourney in a rented building out in anahiem or something. I can't remember his name but it was a success. (do a search for it, he held a couple I think).
Yo I just searched all threads for "orange county" and nothing came up. Ideally we could rent a LAN instead of all just go to one...
If you guys with the friends wouldn't mind asking them to post on this forum so we can get a committed group to do this? I'll post everybody who says they are interested and that way we have something tangible to refer back to.
Well if this uis held or another is held in the first week or two ofd january I'd be down to come to Cali since my family will be in Hawaii without me.I could always pick up Arizonaians or Cali ppl that are on the way.
I'm gonna be gone during almost all of January FuDDx... Bummer, there is no way that everybody that wants to participate will be able to, but! Hopefully if this first one goes well on the 29th (if everything plays out), then we will continue to do these or have much more SC related events/involvement in the future.
