Originally, iloveoov was known as a strong random player in Gamei, and a Zerg player later on, to be converted to Terran by Boxer(Not quite sure of the Zerg->Terran thing.) iloveoov is known for his incredible macromanagement; he has the strongest macro in the world without a doubt. He is known to be very close to Boxer, (who recruited him from the amateur ranks as stated before) who also took him as an apprentice and rival. He burst into the progaming scene in 2003 winning 3 MSL's in a row, surprising everyone with his blunt and powerful macro-oriented type of play in an age where micro-oriented players were everywhere. He won 3 MSL's in a row and proceeded to lose to July in the finals of the 2004 iTV OSL 1-3. In total, he has won 4 MSL's and one OSL(2005 Shinhan OSL), as well as placing 3rd in 3 OSL's and 2nd in 1 OSL. He placed first in the 2006 WCG Korean Representative Preselection, defeating his teammate Midas, and went on to win the 2006 WCG by beating JulyZerg. I'm pretty sure he has won 3 msls (no one has won 4), and 2 osls, with 2 osl 3rd places.

Race: Protoss Nickname: The Progamer Killer + Show Spoiler + the progamer killer, ahk-gosu ![]() After watching a huge amount of vods and replays of progamers, he realized these progamers aren't that good, and declared himself one of the best protosses in the world. Unshaken from the comments made about his lack of skill and the accusation of him not knowing what explosive damage is, ahk-gosu comfirmed his stature by saying he had defeated some zerg progamers and handles pressure well especially after playing mufasa in his elementary school's "The Lion King". Not known for his macro: over 6000 minerals/gas combined while having only 86 population out of 116 max at over 33 minutes into the game ahk-gosu is a micro oriented player incapable of hosting a reppack of himself, possibly due to the fact that he doesn't want any other players to study his style in case he plays in the korean leagues. In a CLOSE series between himself and Tfeign.legend, ahk-gosu was dismantled by tfeign's hero dt [22 kills] and tfeigns army. The series itself is controversial as ahk-gosu had said he wasn't playing for real as it was a showseries and he hadn't plyed for weeks and was about to go to sleep. tfeign was then criticized for spamming hotkeys which the TL community frowned upon. + Show Spoiler + ahk-gosu's impressive aiurian army, still wasn't enough for tfeign's respective aiurian army ![]() ahk-gosu promptly retired before a rematch could be played due to educational reasons and commitments with the red cross. + Show Spoiler + Canata aka Go In Gyu (고인규) Team: SKTelecomT1 Race: Terran Other ID's used: iloveoovJeju, Sea.Paris Birthdate:1987-06-25 Age: 20 as of 7/5/07 Photo: ![]() Canata was praised by iloveoov and Boxer to be the next "big thing". iloveoov briefly mentioned him in his interview after defeating Boxer in the Ever 2004 Finals. He seemed to be a promising prodigy, as he was known to have defeated everyone in his team house during practice hours, but not making any major events and high standings due to bad nerves in front of the crowds and TV cameras. He seems to share this trait with his teammate Midas, also a T1 terran who seems to choke in front of the camera. Canata has a good TvZ and TvT, but lacks in TvP with a win % of 35.29%(6 wins and 11 losses). A small reason for this might result in the fact that even though both iloveoov and Boxer had trained Canata and Midas as well, Boxer became Canata's roommate and Boxer is known to have a weak TvP but strong at TvZ and TvT. Race: Protoss Birthdate: 14/01/1985 Current Team: MBCGame Hero (former Captain) Former Team(s): Pirates of Space (P.O.S), Plus Nickname(s): Spirit, A-move Zealot Spirit Trademark: Insane Macro (Ji-Ho Mode, Spirit) Favorite Unit: Arbiter Rival: Anytime[gm] - Oh Yung Jong - 르까프 Photos + Show Spoiler + PuSan after defeating Midas in the Shinhan Quarter Finals Julyzerg and PuSan after July won his game against Rock PuSan after defeating CaSy 3-0 The Three Neo-Kings, Left to Right; PuSan, Stork, Anytime So1 Ongamenet Starleague - 4th Place Shinhan 2005 OSL - 3rd Place SKY Proleague 2006 - 1st Place (MBCGame Hero) 2nd KeSPA Cup - 1st Place (MBCGame Hero) Bio: [Park Ji Ho] is the Protoss player that defines what it is to be a Protoss user today. The rate in which he improves is fearsome. I feel he becomes stronger and stronger, game after game. Now not only does he have a formidable macro but also a great strategic side to his play. - Lim Yo Hwan In his younger years, Park Ji-ho was never the type to spend long days and nights playing games on a computer. His family did not even own a computer. One summer, his friends introduced him to the world of starcraft and within no time at all he was addicted. To practice he would tell his parents that he was going to the local temple to study then walk to the local PC-Bang to get some gaming time in. Despite his parents being barely able to make a living, when Ji ho wanted to get a computer to 'study' (play Starcraft) they bought him one. Ji ho was incredibly talented, within a year he was the top player in Junpo (his local region in Pusan) and won many tournaments, even winning $50 from placing first in a money-map tournament. In 2001, after watching GARIMTO in the 2001 SKY OSL he decided to become a progamer. One of his school friends collected the details for all the managers in progaming teams and tried to get Ji ho a trial. He was accepted for a trial for team Plus. In his trial he beat every single member of the team and advanced so quickly that in 3 days he was able to play in the MBCGame Team Leauge. In his first ever television appearance, he crushed the foreign hope Bertrand (ElKy) of Hexatron. With this game he brought his 'Ji-ho mode' and unusual playstyle to the forefront and exposed the world to his macro. During his time on Plus, he formed a close friendship with his would-be rival Oh Yung Jong (Anytime[gm]) and the zerg player Sung Hak Seung (MuMyung). In the early stages of 2005, after a turbulent time in Plus, Ji ho moved to Pirates of Space (P.O.S). During the fall season (So1 OSL), Ji ho, along with Yung Jong, took center stage blasting through to the semifinals of the tournament. Ji ho faced Lim Yo Hwan (Boxer) in arguably the standout Bo5 from the tournament. Although eventually losing 2-3 and then losing to Choi Yun Sung (iloveoov) 2-3 and coming 4th overall, he cemented his place in the progaming scene. With his success in So1 he became one of the neo-toss kings, along with old friend and rival Oh Yeong Jong (Anytime) and Song Byung Goo (Stork). The following starleague, Shinhan 2005 OSL, was also good for Ji ho, despite losing to team mate Park Sung Joon (Julyzerg) 0-3 in the semifinals, he demolished future OSL champ Han Dong Wook (Casy) 3-0 to secure 3rd place. Since then, Ji ho has met limited success, but showing some stellar performances nonetheless. At the beginning of 2006, Ji ho was caught on camera with what would be know as "Straw APM". At the last minute, Ji ho was included in the Mystery Map Invitational event which team Asia lost 2-3 to Europe (Ji ho lost to Fisheye 1-2). Also in 2006, P.O.S secured sponsorship from T.V. giant MBC to form MBCGame Hero; with Ji ho named as captain. Under his leadership, the team went on to win the 2006 Sky Proleague over SK Telecom T1. Ji Ho also participated in an IEF 2007 Showmatch against Chinese ex-progamer Luo Xian (LX) which he won 2-1. Park Ji Ho cares alot about his parents, and feels remorse for going behind their back in his younger years. He loves them very much, and sent his first paycheck to them as well as supporting them financially through the time he has become a progamer. Name: Firebathero - Lee Seong Eun 이성은 Nickname: BraQ, Blockbuster Team: Samsung KHAN DOB: March 2, 1988 Weight and Height: 180cm, 63kg By PanoRaMa Last updated 7/5/07 The tale of this Hero is one that is wrought with emotion and a searing sense of self-determination. Lee Seong Eun's rise to stardom was quick and admirable, but was at the same time plagued with the realizations of his own shortcomings and the strive to find his own identity within the pro gaming world. The Debut - Shinhan 2 OSL. Firebathero made his presence known in the middle of 2006, sporting a unique ID and a stylish appearance. His first Starleague appearance would be in the Shinhan 2 OSL, landing himself in the same Group of 24 group as another debuting rookie, Bisu of MBCGame HERO. While Bisu would go onto defeat this group, composed of veteran ChoJJa and a then-unknown JiHyun uncontested, Firebathero found his way into the Group of 16 via a tiebreaker series, disposing of ChoJJa and JiHyun. Firebathero lost in the next round against another newcomer to the scene, IriS[gm] of CJ Entus, 0-2 in a best of 3. Dejected, Firebathero found himself headed to the ODT for Shinhan Season 3. Bisu would also lose 1-2 to Goodfriend of KTF MagicNs in this same round as well. The Calling - Shinhan 3 OSL. Firebathero's presence in Shinhan 3 was dwarfed by the fact that he was surrounded by players in a Group of 24 stage that boasted much better players than those in his Shinhan 2 group. A make up of previous OSL 2nd place winner Anytime of Lecaf Oz, YellOw[ArnC] of OGN SparkyZ, and Sea.Up of eSTRO would be a formidable test for Seong Eun. Only able to defeat Anytime in his group stage, Firebathero was sent to the wildcard stage where he faced two other Terrans, Shinhan 2 OSL winner and Pro Gaming legend, NaDa of Pantech EX, and Light[aLive] of MBCGame HERO. Grasping at his straws, Firebathero was able to beat Light[aLive] but not NaDa, which barely allowed him to advance to the Round of 16. Here, Seong Eun was able to oust the wiser, more experienced GGPlay of Hanbit Stars 2-1, using such strategies like Proxying a Factory into a fast Starport with 4 Barracks build, setting him up for a Round of 8 match against former OSL winner Casy of OGN SparkyZ. It was this Round of 8 matchup that became Firebathero's calling - not only for him but for the fans he would make as well. After being able to take a win in the first game in a best of 3, Casy won both games after that to advance into the semi-finals. The hours of hard work and the multiple times of barely being able to hold onto that small glimmer of hope now meant nothing in this OSL. This photo, taken by Fighterforum, of Firebathero being consoled by his mother seared through the hearts of many. Firebathero ended the season placing an impressive 6th place in the Shinhan 3 OSL. A month later, Bisu, whom had debuted in the same OSL as Seong Eun, stopped time and shocked the world with a mind-blowing 3-0 win against SaviOr of CJ Entus in the GOM TV 1 MSL Finals. At this point, Firebathero's OSL (non-ODT) stats were 10-11. The Identity - Shinhan Proleague 2007, GOM TV 2 MSL Firebathero could not qualify into the Daum OSL 2007, but his hard work and increasing skill paid off. During the Shinhan Proleague 2007, his team Samsung KHAN made their mark as an unstoppable force - with 2v2 teams that were near-invincible, and 1v1 players that simply could not lose an ace match - or any match for that matter. At the forefront of this domination was Stork, who had begun to rise as a top-tier player, being undefeated for his first 8 games in the Proleague. Eager not to simply follow Stork's shadow, as of this writing Firebathero has yet to disappoint, being 9-1 in the Proleague, with 8 of those wins being in TvT. Many of these wins directly resulted in the emergence of Firebathero's persona - that of a hard-working, determined, yet lovable and immature player, evidenced by his victory dance ceremonies. The Proleague ran concurrent with the GOM TV 2 MSL, wherein Firebathero had been posting impressive results as well. When he completed MSL Survivor, Firebathero was asked who he wanted to meet in the MSL. His response was "I want to meet Bisu. We became progamers at the same time. But he has already won a major league, and I don't want to be chasing behind him. I don't want to fall behind someone I started at the same time with." (Credit to Fighterforum, translated by LosingID8) As Bisu had already stunned the world, Firebathero eagerly awaited his chance to make himself known. In his Round of 32 group, Firebathero was once again the underdog amongst a sea of favorites: The Emperor, BoxeR, had recently returned as a pro gamer for the Air Force and had turned heads after his completion of MSL Survivor. Nal_rA, the most consistent Protoss player of all time was also in this group as well as renowned TvT artist Canata. Despite being amongst such players, Firebathero was able to make his presence known after striding through the stage with wins against BoxeR and Canata. Defeating two Terran titans was certainly a credit to Firebathero's quick improvement and overall prowess. On May 27th, three days after his wins, he faced Cloud of OGN SparkyZ in the Shinhan Proleague in the 4th set, where Samsung KHAN was trailing. In an hour-long game, Firebathero made a devastating comeback after being at a significant economic disadvantage for half the game and defeated Cloud, forcing the match to go into the Ace round where Stork was able to bring KHAN to victory. Making such headlines for his TvT play was necessary, as his next opponent in the MSL was the famous Iloveoov of SKT1. After losing the first game, Firebathero was able to defeat Iloveoov in the next 2 games and proceed to the Round of 8. He would face SaviOr, the very player Bisu defeated to achieve fame, in a best of 5. The first game was climactic and deservedly so for a matchup of such proportions, lasting almost an hour long, Firebathero made an incredible comeback akin to his match against Cloud, and won in what many call the best game of 2007. Firebathero would end up winning the series 3-2, being one of the two Terran players in the world who could honestly say that they have defeated SaviOr in a best of 5 matchup. Firebathero's path to glory faced an unfortunate roadblock - in the Round of 4 he was set to play his teammate and fellow rising star, Stork. Seong Eun lost the series 2-3, thereby crushing his wish to face Bisu, who was able to qualify again into the MSL finals. The BraQ - An Aftermath Firebathero's trek towards a championship surely does not end here. As of writing, he is still able to place 3rd into the current MSL, and he is already seeded for the next MSL as well. Firebathero's success in the Proleague has cemented his role within his team as a star player. His play has evolved from being a standard Terran with mediocre micro/macro into one that strives to dazzle the crowd with neat tricks, whether it be using Nukes, using Restoration against Plagues, or Proxying Barracks in the tie breaking game of a best of 5 against the best player in the world. His play has become much smarter overall, from being able to perfectly dictate the flow of the game (vs. Sea.Up 7/2/07), conducting successful comebacks (vs. Cloud 5/27/07, SaviOr 6/24/07) to even being able to perfectly predict and counter certain build orders (vs. Stork 7/5/07 game 4). Firebathero has faced many opportunities for success. These opportunities, however, are razor thin - whether it be advancing into the next stage via wildcard/tiebreaker multiple times, or being only 1 game away from progressing. However, his career, despite the emotional shortcomings at times, has been constantly improving with each Starleague appearance. While Bisu may very well win a consecutive MSL title, Firebathero will not be too far behind. Sample Videos Typical Firebathero Proleague Ceremony Firebathero Ceremony after beating SaviOr

Firebathero debuted in the Shinhan 2 OSL and was able to make it to the Round of 16 before losing to IriS 0-2. His second OSL appearance, in the Shinhan 3, acquired him more attention, after defeating GGPlay with flashy control in the Round of 16, and then losing to Casy in a close series in the Round of 8. Firebathero eventually placed 6th in the Shinhan 3 OSL. His losses facilitated what could be assumed an extensive, determined training regiment, as his subsequent appearances displayed a tremendously-improved Firebathero. He is currently 9-1 in the Shinhan Proleague 2007, with 8 of those wins being TvT, solidifying Firebathero as a formidable mirror match player. In the GOM TV 2 MSL, Firebathero was able to defeat players such as BoxeR, Canata, Iloveoov, even the near-invincible SaviOr, landing himself in the Semifinals. He lost to his teammate Stork in this close series, and as of this writing has yet to play the 3rd/4th match to determine his overall placing in this MSL season. Firebathero's recent improvement has cemented himself as a TvT specialist and an ace player for his team, Samsung KHAN, and is known for his humorously immature victory dance ceremonies.
