4th place at MBC Starleague Pringles 1 2006 lost to Kingdom
3rd place at World Cyber Games 2006 won LX
3rd place at Ongamenet Starleague won GoodFriend

Sang-Wook Jeon was for a long time known for his fierce TvP match-up, which was widely accepted as the best in the world. His winning percentages in TvP have been breath taking throughout his career. Sang-Wook is a player who has never won anything big, but rather been a solid player for his team SKT1. He is probably one of the most consistent terrans in history, although slumping now pretty badly.

In 2004 people were amazed and many hadn't even heard of this DdangG as he was reaping through the WCG Korea with astonishing 10-0 stats and earned his place in the grand finals in San Francisco. At the grand finals he proved himself again and fought his way in to the gold-match to face Xellos. The games were intense but midas ended up being crushed 2-0 by The Perfect Terran.

The highlight year of Sang-Wook's career this far has been 2006. The year he placed 4th in MSL and 3rd in OSL and also gained 3rd place in WCG. In 2006 as some unknown Zerg called IPXZerg, better known as Savior, started to dominate the Brood War scene Midas was actually thought to be his best rival. By that year the TvP virtuoso had become very scary in every other matchup also., even his TvZ was also considered as one of the best in the world. Midas challenged Savior in the Ongamenet Starleague Shinhan 3 2006, by being seeded higher he picked him to his group. It was widely considered as a suicide move, but Baby-bear actually pulled it through and beat the Maestro. After the groupstages Midas got to pick his next opponent and he picked Ma Jae-Yoon, but this time the prey fought back and sank Sang-Wook in to oblivion.

The 2007 first starleagues have been rough for him, being eliminated from both very early. Midas is still a very strong player but it seems he lacks selfconfidence even more than before, and right now he is showing the audience not much more than akward ceremonies.

ChRh - Choi In Kyu - 최인규
AKAs: ChoiGuri
Born: 1981/9/15
Race: Terran
Team: ACE
Former Teams: Suma GO, Samsung KHAN

+ Show Spoiler +
[image loading]

ChRh is one of the oldest players in SC progaming, both by age and experience. During the early days of televised Starcraft, he was considered the best random player in the world, with toss being his primary race.
His playing style is focused on economic domination. A game where he holds the initiative will see the opponent crippled by lack of expansions, with himself dominating much of the map. This have more than often left him weak in the early game though.

He peaked around 2002, finishing 3rd in the Nate OSL, grabbing 4th place in both 1st and 2nd KPGA Leagues, as well as in the second GhemTV Starleague. Around this time he also gave up on playing random, but instead of as anticipated chosing his best race, Protoss, he chose Terran solely because he found it more fun to play. During this time he also sustained an injury to his wrist while rollerblading.

ChRh is best known for three things; being considered one of the best looking progamers in the world, getting beaten by an amateur called NaDa on the pro vs amateur show, and having one of the worst slumps in progaming: 1402 days without a win, a streak that recently ended with him beating top-player Bisu on Monty Hall in the Proleague.

He joined the army in 2005, and was recruited for ACE by Lim Yo Hwan in 2007.

Prime League 5

Jang Yong-Seok, FreeDom.WeRRa is a former Warcraft 3 player that switched to Starcraft after the modifications of WC3 maps in major leagues in 2005. He was a Night Elf player, which was considered as the most dominant race in the first years of the game. Yong-Seok obviously didn't like too much of the idea that the maps were made rigged in favor of other races in an effort to balance the game. Yong-Seok did well in the Warcraft 3 scene, winning four major leagues. Interesting thing is that originally he actually started as a Starcraft player and switched to Warcraft.

Two years have passed and Freedom hasn't been in the spotlight too much. He has stayed in the same team where he originally started as a Warcraft player, Samsung Khan. Yong-Seok is in a solid team and not too old to make it big some day, but by now the only achievements worth mentioning are his games in the GoMTV 2 MSL. He made it through the Survivor tournament, but unluckily got too hard of a group for him to handle in the MSL itself. In the Survivor on his way to the MSL he beat `Slayers` Boxer and won his group shocking everyone. The groupstages didn't look all that impossible after his Survivor show, but Bisu and Oversky were the ones to advance from his group. Freedom hasn't been used that much in Proleague, if at all.

Bio
"There's nothing but a straight (punch) for a man" - An infamous saying by Byun Eun Jong. An amateur boxer turned Starcraft gosu, Eun Jong has been one of the most successful Zergs of all time. He has acquired the nickname "Straight Zerg" from that saying of his, as well as his 'straight' style and is also known as "Silver Bell" (Eun - Silver, Jong - Bell) among team mates and fans. Eun Jong has had a long career and has been one of the most unpredictable players ever.

Eun Jong started out small in team Soul. His time with Soul was very special to him, and he treasured his roots. After winning the first KeSPA cup with KHAN and being named MVP, Eun Jong remarked that the first thing he would do with his money is buy all his old team mates from Soul dinner. His friendships in Soul also lead to the match between himself and Seo Ji Soo (Tossgirl) in Superfight 3. His time at Soul was also critical for his development. Despite posting mediocre results in tournaments in this time period, he was always a feared user of the swarm. However, good results were just around the corner as he placed 4th in NHN Hangame OSL.

In 2004, Eun Jong, Park Tae Min (GoRush) and Park Sung Jun (Julyzerg) were considered the 3 most feared zergs and dominated left right and center. And in the following year Eun Jong was recruited into Samsung KHAN and his presence immediately improved the teams success. Within 6 months of being recruited KHAN had won the first ever KeSPA Cup in 2005 for Samsung KHAN by beating Kim Jun Yung (GGPlay) in the 7th set securing their 4-3 victory over Hanbit. Eun Jong also showed a new found unpredictability and a willingness to use 5 or 4 pools as well as using obscure units and spells like ensare. With this 'new' level of skill came a new appearance; he began to wear sunglasses in matches. This became somewhat of a Eun Jong trademark.

Eun Jong carried through his unique style of play to this day. He is considered quite a fearsome ZvZ opponent (despite being a well-rounded player) especially in 2005-2006 and completely dominated on "Rush Hour" having a near perfect record. Eun Jong has remained modest throughout his career and in UZOO MSL revealed that his goal was not to win UZOO MSL, but to simply attain a Seed. From there, he said, he would move on to take first place. Eun Jong's next big success came in Pringles 2 MSL where he placed 3rd Equal with Kang Min (Nal_ra). Also in 2006 he became famous for his 'neck roll' ceremony.

Eun Jong made somewhat of a blunder in an interview by saying ZvP is easy; which he later regretted losing almost all of his remaining ZvP's. Eun Jong stepped up to the next level in 2007 by adopting a 'Smart' strategy by beating Park Ji-Ho (PuSan) 2-0 overcoming his losing streak in ZvP. By out thinking his opponent and playing a smart game he was able to attain a decisive victory, and in his winners interview said "ZvP is hard" - admitting his previous mistake.

Throughout his career it has been impossible to tell how far he will go. On the day he could be the hottest player in the world, or a complete dud. This is one of the many reasons the fans love him, you never know what you're going to get. Also, he is one of the more 'emotional' players as you can tell what he is thinking by the expression on his face. He certainly is a fun player to watch and support.

In the words of Eun Jong himself
I may not be the best player right now but I think I can beat any 'best' players. I'll beat all the best players and become the best player. Watch me.

Eun Jong currently captains Samsung KHAN which in first place in proleague at the moment.

sAviOr (formerly IPXZerg)- Ma-Jae Yoon- 마재윤
Race: Zerg
Birthdate: 11/23/1987
Religion: Buddhist
Height: 178cm
Blood type: B
Guild: [gm]
Current team: CJ Entus
Achievements: Advanced to the MSL finals 5 times
3-time MSL Champion (Uzoo MSL 2005, Pringles 1 MSL 2006, Pringles 2 MSL
2006)
Advanced to the MSL and OSL finals simultaneously
Shinhan Season 3 OSL Champion 2006/7 (Royal Road)
Korean e-Sports Awards Best Player of 2006

Ma-Jae Yoon has developed into one of the most feared and respected progamers currently competing in Korea and has already cemented his place in history as one of the best ever with his many impressive results. In particular the competition where he has really excelled is the MSL, where he advanced to the finals 5 times in row and was champion 3 of these 5 times. In doing so he won matches against some of the best- final series against both Reach and Nal-rA and an all-time classic 3-0 semi-final trouncing of the feared T>Z monster iloveoov, a series of games which really showcased Savior's amazingly skillful late-game multitasking control of hive tech units and big armies and won him many fans.
Then to cap this accomplishment he went on to become champion of the Shinhan season 3 OSL 2006/7after a thrilling knife-edge semi-final against teammate Iris and a powerful display of composure in the final against the imposing Nada. This was a very important milestone due to the respect that the OSL has among the progaming community. This win places Ma-Jae Yoon in the top tier of progamers along with Lim yo-hwan (Boxer), Lee yun-yeol (Nada) and others.
The feat of simultaneously making it to the MSL final and winning the OSL final was recognised by Ma-Jae Yoon winning the best player of 2006 at the 2007 Korean e-Sports Awards.
Ma-Jae Yoon has maintained an incredible pro-record against protoss of over 70% but even more notable than this is the success he has had against terrans, traditionally a race that so many zerg pro-gamers have struggled so much against. Savior still has a higher-than 60% average against terrans and he has beaten many of the top terrans.
Savior has not been shy of controversy and his taunting of Jju via his neck-roll ceremony and tough-talking during pre-league pool selections have antagonised some in the pro-gaming world. However many other fans appreciate his blunt honesty and self-confidence.
Although only(!) making it as far as the quarter-finals of both leagues so far in 2007 Ma-Jae Yoon is still young and has the potential to go even further in the future. His stated goals are to compete in the next WCG and help his team (CJ) win a proleague.

a couple of corrections:

GTR, Boxer is the most famous, the most popular, the most just about everything.. but he's not the most successful. Nada is.

Pressure: iTV isnt an OSL. Oov has two OSL wins, one against Boxer in EVER 2004, and one against July like you mentioned
