But for almost a year I've been looking for the zotac broadcast vods... I have been unsuccessful, mainly to try and make a tribute video for incontrol and the community from the amazing and laughter filled event. If anyone has it, please contact me. It would be god send. Thank you everyone. | ||

If you don't save a vod onto another medium (maybe you can on twitch, dunno), it'll automatically get deleted after a certain time period so this is unlikely due to China and more likely due to no one saving the vods after. On that note, the vods were linked several posts above this from reddit though those are Larva's vods, but those were the highlights from zotac cup anyways lol | ||

Zotac did not want those vods to be seen by anyone, and Blizzard pulled them from all sources of media. | ||

I don't think the VODs aren't available because of whatever crazy conspiracy of Blizzard having a chinese publisher. This event was barely a Blizzard event (only so much probably that you have to register events this size with blizzard). It was an event by Zotac. As the name begets. Zotac... is a chinese company. The person in charge saw the big appeal of the SCR launch event and wanted the same thing. If anything, it was because Zotac China was upset they didn't release what they locally recorded. Honestly, even IF they locally recorded. | ||

Take the Starcraft Remastered Launch Event. There was one in Korea with Grrr, Boxer, the real Yellow, Reach, NaDa, Flash, Bisu, Jaedong, a historic event, and definitely worth preserving, right? But apparently not important enough for someone at Twitch's Starcraft account to save the damn VOD. The only evidence that it ever happened is that a private user recorded and uploaded a mirror on Youtube with a stupid watermark. I still think the funniest part of this whole thing is that Zotac made a big deal about Larva being banned from all future Zotac events, of which there were... zero. Good looking out Zotac. | ||

I hope you realize that. I worked behind the scenes and watched how production went. Where were you? They had troubles. It's not that ridiculous to not locally record, the amount of esports events that don't think to backup I've worked with is an amazing amount. I was just the observer, I didn't want to go fixing their stuff. | ||
