I think someone already suggested to have another 2D filtering option other than bilinear filtering, but you may also want to post something on the blizzard forums.
Looking forward to DX9 support, lots of people will be able to play again.

Are they getting rid of OpenGL and putting Dx9 again? Or just have compatibility with both?

Both. OpenGL needs to stay for Mac compatibility.

Is there a chance dx9 will have fewer issues than OpenGL?

It's excellent news. There's many folks I know who have really old computers and just never upgraded because they only play BW. But with OpenGL, they were unable to jump on the 1.18 boat.
Seeing the DX9 compatibility will bring back that entire user-base
Is that going to be a 1.18.8 fix you think? Any ideas?

Anybody experiencing stuttering lag? It doesn't lag entirely but I'm stuttering every 2-3 seconds which makes my muta micro bad and koreans to leave.. Ever since 1.18.5 i been experiencing this problem..

Is it right that the game is not widescreen now ? My game screen used to fill the monitor before now its just a small box in the middle with black bars at the side.
Will it only fill the screen completely when you buy remastered ?

Will it only fill the screen completely when you buy remastered ? That is the proper way to play. The way you had it before, it was simply stretched. Did not offer any increased visibility or true resolution.
You can likely change this in your GFX settings ("maintain aspect ratio") or something similar, depending on your set-up.

hmm it just seems a bit weird to go from fullscreen to this, after remastered i guess is the only way to get widescreen properly then ?

It's never been possible to get "proper widescreen" while playing BW, unless you use a mod or something. Remastered will change this. BW has always been played in 4:3 (is that right?)
|
yeah i mean just fullscreen not widescreen, i liked it better than the letterbox mode now tbh.

If you're talking about WinXP/Vista users, they still won't be able to play because BW 1.18 uses TLS 1.1. Bisu for example would have to install Win7 (or newer) on his XP machine to get it running.

Fun fact: Starcraft 2 still works on Windows XP since it doesn't use TLS 1.1.

with all these cyberattacks and whatnot you should be updating your Windows to at least Windows 7 regardless.

sensitivity is still strange compared to iccup + mca64...i tried windowed/windowed fullscreen and fullscreen. I also tried fps cap on/off and vsync on/off... what else can i try?
EDIT: second problem: after update hotkeys are english (i normally have german)
