BW Pro League had a great 10 year run but could it last another 10 years? You have to look at this from another side too. I'm sure you have a sweet spot for Nada, Boxer, etc. Now we can watch our favorite BW Bonjwas become relevant again. Would you not even slightly enjoy a potential Boxer vs Nada final? I'm quite happy that Boxer and Nada can resurrect their career and to be frank, I am cheering for Nada and Boxer over the new generation SC2 players like Fruitdealer, etc. It would last a really long time. You clearly don't follow the BW scene because the strategies have been constantly evolving. That's what was so great about the game. Who are you to say that BW would not last another 10 years? Just because it's been around for a certain amount of time, we have to "move on?" Hey soccer has been around for ages. It's getting old and boring. Let's spice it up by giving players shoes that can make you accelerate and kick the ball even harder or something like that! Age has nothing to do with ANYTHING.

OH WAIT BECAUSE ITS A NEW FUCKING GAME. You think it wasn't like that before SC2 came out? Yeah, you better be sorry for your ignorance.

Age has nothing to do with ANYTHING. Well the appeal of soccer has never been technology related at its core, and yet technology has changed that game in many ways. But the high-tech appeal was part of Brood War's appeal. There is also no question that starleague crowds have been shrinking, even before Brood War. OSL crowds seem to have been getting smaller since July vs. Best. The proleague final crowd was bigger this year than last, but is still far from the peak.

Age has nothing to do with ANYTHING. The crappy thing about soccer is it focuses on people who are in shape and have good cardio too much. Cardio is boring and hard. If we can adapt the game to new technologies such as shoes that run for you, then we will have a much better and more exciting games as players can devote more energy to kicking the ball rather than running the field. Obviously.

I feel bad about the way that BW is losing popularity too, so I'm not going to comment on this anymore. Kinda feels like pouring salt on a wound. I just wish Kespa and Blizzard would have negotiated in the beginning and we could have both games survive and flourish.

There's been plenty of big companies and eSports events in Europe and the US but how many have lasted successfully and stably for so long? Every new game gets jumped on but only for a short period and that's unfortunately whats wrong with international eSports.

How is this a step backwards when big European sponsors are jumping into the E-Sports scene? because they are sponsoring ONE PLAYER, not a team, just ONE Player for advertising purposes. come back to me when their are 10-20 teams, where every good player is salaried, housed, fed, all in the name of the game fuCKKKKKKKkk YOUUU BLIZZARD/ACTIVISION you are ruining the one thing i love i'm going to korea for a wedding at christmas time too and wanted to catch a live game. because of you fuckers, it might not come to fruitation. All things considered it had a great run and entertained us all for countless hours, but all good things must come to an end. I'll definitely remember all the great games and emotional starleague victories, all we can do at this point is hope that SC2 brings us similar (or maybe even better) experiences.

My sentiments exactly regarding the big company and the BW Player potential sponsorship. The big company may just be one of those companies that decide to hop on the initial bandwagon/hype surrounding the eSport, then later just decide to fade away and hop on the next "exciting" game. When a big company begins to start being interested in running an ACTUAL TEAM, then I'll rethink my thoughts on the potential of SC2.

KT Rolster coach Lee Ji Hoon IP and public property is important, but... People don't know the biggest hurdle in the negotiations and are just arguing with themselves. I'm not allowed to disclose any information, but when you find out... you will probably be extremely upset... Man... Wow man that is so depressing... We need more information ffs ! btw @OP thanks for the updates and translations ![]()
