If you guys can't do it why not ask some other korean speaking dude here who wants to. I'm serious, no disrespecting. It's just that people are super anxious to get the next episode once you awesomely put out 3 episodes fast, creating a demand. If I spoke korean I'd do it.

I don't hold anyone responsible for "creating expectations" and being inconsistent. If they're going to do a few episodes fast and then be busy/lose interest for a few episodes then so be it. But this show should really take priority over hyungjun imo. And i'm getting quite tired of that show. That guy's lack of integrity and political skill are both epic and entertaining, but the show increasingly seems to be just a bunch of lame jokes and dumb sound effects. Edit: pardon my ignorance, only read the page i posted on.

The translator we have for Hyungjoon and the translator we have for Nal_rA are two different people. This has nothing to do with priorities. It has to do with the technical issues of getting a broken VOD, timing the broken VOD after about half a week of deciding whether or not we should even use it, and then getting a fixed VOD which we need to retime stuff for. I already went over this last page.

It's not about speaking Korean. MrMin has already done his job. We're just in the process of timing it, and you certainly don't know how long it takes to fucking time this shit. Oh, for reference, it took l10f about 15 minutes when he first started to time one minute of video. This video is 36 minutes. Do the math. We're gonna go by our schedules and when we want to do it. Your ungrateful self can wait on it. For everyone else, I'm sorry. There's a few issues with the raw and the initial timing and stuff that's delayed our work. We'll get it out sometime in the next few days. We're about 78% done at this moment.

Alright dude, sorry for brainstorming about how to get it out faster. I'm sure it takes alot of work, and I really appreciate the effort.

Do you guys happen to know how many episodes this Oldboy series will run for? I sure hope it is longer than the 10 episodes of Hyungjun =)

So far you've mentioned 3: 1. Translating 2. Encoding 3. Timing I'm pretty sure most people know what is involved in translating, but could you elaborate on the encoding and timing processes? In addition to enlightening us, it would help to recruit more people to your team if they knew what skills were needed to be involved in these sorts of projects.

In addition to enlightening us, it would help to recruit more people to your team if they knew what skills were needed to be involved in these sorts of projects. Step 1: Procuring the raw. Sometimes it's hard to find the raw of the video. Step 2: Translating. Translators go through the audio and sometimes the Korean subtitles and translate it to English and timestamp it so timers can time it. Step 3: Timing. Timing the translated text to audio. Timers match the audio with the translated text. This is arguably the most tedious part of the process. Step 4: Encoding. Probably the easiest process. Just encode the subs onto the video because half the community fails with softsubs (We tried it once, but some people are technologically incompetent, so hardsubbing is the way we roll) Step 5: Uploading it. I think we're fine with who we have right now. You just have to take into consideration that we're doing this in our spare time. We have other stuff like school, work, whatever that we have to take care of first. Just give us time, be patient. Hyungjoon Ep 9 didn't come out for like 4 weeks and people didn't bitch about it. Why start now? Ep 3 was only aired like 8 days ago. Chill.

Thanks fansub team! Can't wait for the ep4 to be released. There's ways to say you are waiting and appreciating the work and those were simply put as complains

That way we can just read/watch instead of whining for the sub. Thanks for the Streams and the Subs and the random K-Pop.

Team liquid is a community, if you are unsatisfied there is nothing stopping you from creating your own subbing team and contributing as well! But alas, many if not all of those saying negative comments towards the subbing team are too lazy to even think about starting their own. I would hope that people would not even take the time to acknowledge any form of complaints seeing as they are just not worth our time. Amazing job so far, keep up the fantastic work.
