i love the map.
it will be one of the most intense games you play if the 2 players are good. It normally involves non-stop harassing going on simultaneously at both bases.
Any1 who plays the game with their mind instead of by memorizing b/o's and watching replays should be able to as easily adapt on Blood bath as any other map imo.
whenever i see a public 1:1 bloodbath, i join it. I hardly ever find much competition on the map, but its still fun.
It is the real 'micro wars' map. It includes mutli-tasking, and lets you practice the most used micro. (Lings, Rines, Zeals)

I can easily see good players doing well there, one on one or so, but the thing is, correct me if I'm wrong, most all of the public games there are simple players that have a set b/o and depend on cheesy zealot/marine/zergling rushes without much creativity. The general public and a few of my friends have huge records from simply doing the same thing each game and then boasting on there great skill. It comes as a surprise to them later though when they play a bigger map and the strategies possible, be it defensivly or offensivly, overwhelms them to the point that it looks like someone who's taking their first try at the game...

a lot of "temple" builds are pretty standard on BB ... 9 pool, 9 rax.. 9 gate.. etc. it's not an ideal map but it's good to practice those kinds of games. it's not broken and certainly not in the short term.

bb is king  i even made my own obs version of it hoho
its actually pretty balanced as well - ling rushes arent that great especially v terran... in fact its a better option to 2 hatch usually

terran would rape zerg bad because zerg has to go fast lurker and terran will have medics very fast and attack before zerg even starts making lurkers, so zerg will have to make lings and burrow or make lots of sunkens so either way zerg is fucked cuz terran goes fast vessel and holds zerg until he has vessel/tank and its gg, i think its very simple, zerg with 1 gas in zvt is fucked

i sorta have to agree with origin. unless zerg can micro excellently, it would be hard to do damage to a terran on a 1 gas to 1 gas ratio. also i gotta point out that u cant flank if terran holds the middle (fairly easy to do?!) and without flank zerg units will be munched up pretty quickly imo
but thats if zerg cant dent terran early early game with a pool and keep him on backfoot while teching to lurk.

Blood bath is a very good map.

In zvz sunken rush is very powerful.

Proxy rax owns all on BB...4pool is as retarded as it is on LT as it is on BB...A good proxy rax will win 60%+ of the time. IMO, Toss is the worst race, because there are less minerals across the map, its a cluttered map, etc. Their units are too big, really. Hydra/Ling/Lurk is pretty standard for BB, and MnM/Tank is standard for T on BB.
As for me, I don't play BB. Yeah, rrright, its too good for me...
