Also, as mentioned in MediaWiki's source code, "Accuracy isn't the point anyway here". If a user does not have an editcount yet, it is initialized by counting the number of entries in the "revision" database attributed to this user. It includes page edits, moves, file uploads, but not deleted or imported contributions. When a user already has an editcount, it is incremented each time the user updates or creates a page. However, if the edit is on a page that is deleted later, the editcount is not updated. The count shown in the  Special:Statistics page is the revision ID count. It is incremented for each page edit, move, file upload, imported contribution and is not decremented when a page is deleted.TL;DR: My count doesn't include edits from anonymous users and is based on something that is not designed to be accurate.
